  1. The ratchet tightens on a weekly basis. None of this had to be. Yes the system was broken, but killing people with a virus and then killing ever more people by criminally locking down society and strangling trade to death, is not the way to mend things. It is clear now, that the target is Western civilisation itself. Its pesky insistence on the rights of the individual - fought for at such great cost - is to be scrapped. The future is to be presided over by a tiny number of families living in unimaginable splendour, all of it provided by the brutal oppression of the masses 'for the greater good'.
