  1. The 'gold as a fetish' cry is a variation on that other favourite of wealthy people who don't want others to have wealth: "money doesn't make you happy". Obviously, having money and wealth is not a 100% guarantee of happiness, but I'd appreciate it if they would just stop getting in my way and let me do the best I can to try and be happy. Weirdly I've noticed that for every £100 I have in my possession, I feel a little happier. As far as 'privilege' goes, I can get that - having money should be the privilege of those who have worked to get it. Another reason I stay out of their fiat system which is perfectly designed for taking away my hard-earned 'privileges'.
