Or Chas Freeman, ex US Ambassador? Or retired US Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor? Or retired US Army Colonel Larry Wilkerson? Or the late Prof' Stephen F. Cohen? Or ex CIA Larry Johnson?   3. The West has not 'mis-managed' its dealings with Russia; it has shown a repeated malicious intent to encroach upon Russia's border so that military conflict was inevitable if Russia wanted to preserve its security. Think in terms of an eastern Monroe Doctrine.

  4. It's really quite simple. The US/UK pact want Russia's stuff, ie it's land mass and the huge resources therein. Once gained, they would use those facilities to fight China.
