"...go for full employment." How would that work? People work in order to receive payment so that they can not only survive, but prosper, have a better standard of life and save. MMT is perfectly capable of paying workers but can it pay them enough to make their lives better?

@antonyjh1234 It's better to live in a 3-bed cottage in a nice area than in a damp flat on the 15th floor. It's better to eat quality food than beans on toast - etc, etc. All this is obvious.

@markwelch3564 MMT is a means of providing funds. The distribution is a matter quite apart from that. There is no guarantee or even likelihood that merely by creating ever increasing levels of currency, distribution would be in any way substantially altered. Conversely, there is nothing that intrinsically rules out alleviating the distribution of resources by means of non-MMT monetary policies.
