  1. The economic system in the West is broken, no doubt. As bad as it has become though, those who are lucky enough to be housed, clothed and fed by that system, will want to know what to replace it with before throwing in their lot with changes. It follows that the way to make them a bit less picky, would be to take away the privileges mentioned by engineering constraints and plying them with adversity - a project managed in recent years by team blue flag, and soon to be carried-on by team red flag. As the pea-lover once declared "If it isn't hurting, it isn't working". Little did we know what was afoot even then. All for the Greater Good don'tcha know.
