  1. The whole structure of these negotiations is unsound. This is a conflict between the West (namely the UK/US Neocon directive - the most visible representation thereof, being the US administration) and Russia. The positioning of that administration as being somehow a midway broker having a beneficent interest in the welfare of both Russia and Ukraine, is preposterous. The Russian delegation would be extremely naive to allow the Americans to pose in such a manner. Even if Trump and Co were genuinely in the business of creating a lasting peace that would guarantee Russia's security; it must be kept in mind that we are less than four years from the next administration which, going on past record, will be once again dedicated to the task of weakening Russia by all available means.

I am an English speaker who is aware that in every word written there is essentially, the opportunity, through lack of attention to detail, to convey the wrong meaning. Whenever I see an instance of such, I inform the writer in a constructive manner, of their slip-up.

  8. janet You are right in that the Fed' is owned by private concerns. However, that does not preclude it from acting as a central bank. It simply does, and it is a central bank.

  9. Both these wars are indeed performances. The prime audience is of the peoples of the Western nations who are being kept focused in the direction away from what is happening in their own legislative bodies. Laws are being pushed through in parliaments and in supra-national organisations, that will be applied in full to give all wealth to the central banks (ultimately the Bank for International Settlements) and all health sovereignty to the WHO. Cash will be taken away and if you don't take the jab, then it's no food for you. What is being arranged is every bit as evil as that.

  14. Mr Kortunov has fallen for the centuries-long charade. The driving force behind the attack on Russia is not Anglo-Saxon, It is Anglo-Norman. This is not a trifling distinction. Only if we look at the British establishment having stripped away this misnomer, can we have a chance at reading them accurately. They took Britain by force and have ruled it cruelly ever since. They then took America and have never - despite the revolution and 'independence' - given up its essential power over the US. They now want the world and to get it they first need the Russian land mass with all of its hoard of resources. They will never rest until they have been laid to rest.

The task being performed - yes, literally 'performed' - by the current crop of western political leaders, is to put daily before their respective peoples, the evidence that will convince them that democracy is a system that has become outmoded, has had its day and that therefore, its dissolution, when shortly it comes, is not to be challenged but rather, to be welcomed in favour of its successor. Just look at them plying their repeated inanities and ask yourself how they could get things so very wrong on every occasion, without putting great effort into not slipping-up, once in a while, and absent-mindedly doing something right.

  22. Dr Vad raises some points that offer hope, but in certain passages he seems rather conflicted and at times, palpably fearful of airing his fuller views. He speaks of the Ukraine conflict, likening it to the brinkmanship around the siting of Russian missiles in Cuba in violation of the Monroe Doctrine. He omits to mention the fact that Russia was seeking to secure the removal of the squadron of Jupiter missiles that had recently been sited in Turkey, giving the US a huge pre-emptive strike capability over the then USSR. The claim is made that it is a mystery as to the perpetrators of the Nordstream destruction. In his position he really has to know who carried-out that operation and that this has led to the crippling of German industry. The absence of any urgency in coming to a finding on this matter is astounding. The Ukraine war, he portrays more than once, as a given, as being started by Russia in February 2022. Yet he states clearly that the preceding decades saw NATO advancing aggressively closer to the Russian border. The whole Maidan coup and the installation of a pro-Western regime and the consequent moves toward Ukrainian membership were all tantamount to provocation, leaving Russia having exhausted its repeated efforts to make the West see sense. As a former high-ranking officer and his now advisory status, he is to be respected. However, his seemingly total acceptance of the actions of 'the closest ally' of Germany and the resultant mounting catastrophe, is bewildering. He and his fellow countrymen really do need to heed the words of Lord Ismay, given on the NATO official website, outlining the fundamental purpose of the organisation; it was, he said, "To keep the Americans in, the Soviets out and the Germans down."
