  1. The roaring of the 2020s is to be the sound of the remains of western economies being burned after their being strangled to death by continual lockdowns. These were devised in order to achieve that one thing while they pretended to deal with another: a middle-ranking viral outbreak. Those in charge of The Spectator, including Mr Murray and of course Fraser Nelson, know full well why this is being done, who is doing it, and what is to replace it; and yet all of this and the past 18 months of the disgraceful governmental abuse of the people has been given in terms of the rights and wrongs of the 'war on c0vid'. Why is The Spectator posing idly, talking about any associated problem except the economy, while that economy is destroyed and our people daily consigned to slave status?
