Yes, tragic isn't it, that a nation of near-on 70 millions cannot do anything to feed itself. In fact we are completely hopeless without Mother EU aren't we - and all that remainer bollocks. But the most important thing is, all of this piffle gives The Spectator and its staff another few days' excuse to leave its real job unattended - the inexorable take down of the UK economy can be carried on with not a word.

@bikerslow2598 We have fed ourselves up to this criminal act of lockdown. We have grown our own crops, raised our own animals and imported whatever we needed beyond that. We have fed ourselves. This was the case prior to our joining the Common Market. The shortages and transport difficulties are by design - part of the plan to kill the economy.
