  1. Look at this comment section, Spectator - can you see a pattern of sentiment? Does the direction of comments cause any concern at all, given that Lisa Haseldine and her colleagues have spent the period since February 2022 resolutely in the 'totally unprovoked' school, and totally rejecting any notion that NATO and the EU have done anything that might have contributed to this catastrophe? Then look at the shambles that the Spectator site comment section has become, with its cadre of enlisted Russophobes and the recent technical 'developments' that have seen to it that any ability to develop discussion has been taken-down. The Spectator is a zombie magazine.
