Just a very few weeks in and they've decided not only to carry on the 'austerity' programme of the Tories, but to increase it by stripping £1.4 billion grants to pensioners for heating assistance in winter; while leaving in place the £6.4 billion annual budget to pay for asylum seekers to be housed in comfortable hotels.
