  17. A further ironic twist to this horrendous event: Usman Khan stabbed those people at a meeting in Fishmongers' Hall. The meeting was held to recognise and celebrate the achievements of people involved in the rehabilitation of offenders. Khan was one of those offenders and the two people he stabbed and murdered were part of a Cambridge University programme working to aid the rehabilitation process. One of those murdered was Jack Merritt, whose Father made a statement saying that his Son would not want his death to be used to cause division and hatred. And yes, there are another 74 people with similar records to Khan, walking the streets of the UK.

The economies and the societies of the whole of the Western world have been shut down for over a year - businesses have been destroyed, some never to return; homes have been lost, careers terminated. Lives have been lost to suicide and relationships have been torn apart. All of this due to criminal lockdowns that are ineffective and ongoing. So why were there now impassioned speeches demanding a return to the normality of people going to work and earning money.
