Food will go the same way, to the point at which our ability to fend for ourselves is ended and we are forced to rely on state handouts. Strange that this new crisis should be upon us, right at the point at which our two year period of economic self-destruction at the hands of needless lockdown, is losing its grip. Almost as if all of this had been planned and were being managed? All of which speculation is to risk being called a conspiracy theorist, and we all know don't we that history can offer us no instances whereby men and women have gathered in secrecy to make plans with a view to gaining power over other people?  These lunatics who reckon that Davos, Blackrock, the Trilateral Commission, Central Banks, the IMF and others have decided that they can now, through technology, own everything and everyone, by destroying the economies that allow people to survive; and then stepping in to 'protect' the human race - they're just paranoid aren't they? When Uncle Klaus told us that by 2030 we would own nothing, and we would be happy - he was just having a bit of a laugh wasn't he?

  12. Carl Heneghan has been one of the very few voices of dissent from the doom narrative from the outset of this dreadful episode. Without sway, his thorough-going application of tried and tested medical science protocols has shone a light of investigation on the policies that have sprung from advice garnered from one source only: the tightly constrained group known as SAGE. This light has shown consistently that the recommendations of SAGE run counter to the procedures that medical science has, over the course of decades of experience, come to recognise as being the way to deal with viral outbreaks. At this stage, and with such clear evidence of the repeated ineffectiveness of their suggested policies, we need urgently to demand a stop to this process by which the life of the country is being systematically restrained. When that is done we then need to have an immediate investigation to discover and make widely known, who made the decision to select the members of SAGE and on what basis they thought that the interests of the country, in tackling a viral outbreak, would be best served not first and foremost by the initial inclusion of a virologist or an epidemiologist (neither included for some time), but by a whole team of behavioural psychologists?

All scientific voices which challenge the pronouncements of SAGE - including the signatories of The Great Barrington Declaration - are ignored by the MSM and vilified by our Health Minister. Someone had the task of selecting experts who could advise the government regarding the best way to lead the country through the outbreak of a novel virus. They chose to select not a single virologist, nor an epidemiologist until we had gone weeks into the outbreak. Behavioural psychologists however were much in evidence. From the outset, the emphasis was clearly not on public health but on the 'management' of people's mental state - they were to be 'nudged' into whatever behaviour was deemed necessary. The mRNA injections which David Starkey mistakenly refers to as 'vaccines', are in fact nothing of the sort. They do not function as does a vaccine. They work in a way that has never been properly tested on humans until this roll-out; as such they can only be experimental. The unprecedented scale of this experiment is pure recklessness and to equate its increasingly forcible dispensation with that of the smallpox vaccine, is to ignore fundamental differences in both the means of medication and the inherent dangers of such an untried procedure. In addition, the death rate of smallpox was 30% in adults and higher in infants. Our current 'vaccination' programme has been devised on an emergency basis to protect people from a pathogen the death rate of which is less than 00.02% with an average age of death at 82 years. A very different proposition.

  18. Brendan, I'm not sure at all that it is clear that the deployment of vaccines has 'broken the link between infection and death and between infection and hospitalisation'. How is that clear? Firstly, if recent reports are to be believed, most of the people who require hospitalisation for this virus have been jabbed; but further than that, how do we know that the virus has not simply reached the stage that all viral outbreaks do, whereby the level of natural immunity has cut down the number of potential victims? How could such distinction be scientifically proven?

  27. We are still in lockdown. Our economy remains massively hampered by the restrictions put on them by executive orders which are fully in force. So many comments here and elsewhere, to the effect that there has to be some kind of Nuremberg hearing which would hold to account those people who have been instrumental in the infliction of so much damage. Why would those people have the slightest intention of easing off at this point before our economy and society have been fully destroyed; knowing full well that any return to our former freedoms would bring them dire consequences? Stand by for much more of what we have experienced in the past year. Boris is already preparing us with his latest 'Indian variant' nonsense.

What we have done is spent the past thirty years, as members of NATO, pushing eastwards so that Russia now finds itself with aggressive military bases and missile sites right up to it front door. This is in direct contravention of the guarantees made by various Western leaders, and repeated protests have been made, to no avail. What is Putin supposed to do, faced with such blatant aggression?

  41. I know three people who are visited once every week at their home, by people who test them for covid. They are paid £25 for each visit. How many times this is repeated across the country I just don't know but it must be costing many pounds that could be spent elsewhere. They are scraping the barrel for 'cases' now so as to keep the lockdown narrative in place.
