Very rare these days to encounter a voice that gives so much sound reasoning and hope that all is not yet lost. This is the first I've heard of Prof' Werner's 'career shift' and the pending legal action. All I would say is that someone in high position at De Montfort has shown great insight and backbone. That's me now going straight to take a look at local-first.

'Fascinating and illuminating' top the list of words I am grasping for to describe the ideas outlined in this interview. Beyond all this however, is the exasperation that despite all of the pointers here given to a positive route out of the mess, which are backed up with so much evidence and rational argument, we find ourselves led further into the mire by people who seem at best to have no clue but more likely have malign intent and a very clear grasp of the direction they are leading the world. Watched the video of 'Princes of the Yen' here on Youtube and it's essential. Looking for the book but will have to save up!

I got it from Quantum Publishers. It includes the all-important and previously expurgated chapter.

Patrick Bet-David's great asset is that he does not swerve from asking the questions that the audience wants to hear. He asks pertinent questions here and he does it in a respectful manner, open to response. Unfortunately, his questions here were so ornamented that the time given to Prof Werner wasn't sufficient for him to explain fully, how QE works; when it should and should not be used. I would like to see an extended further interview/discussion between these two people. It is crucial that we get information like this out to the wider public.

How can all of this NOT make perfect sense to those in power? Yet the system has flowed for so long in precisely the opposite direction, delivering economies to our present perilous state.

@mohdshariq5814 So are you advocating the end of loans?
