  1. When will it finally dawn on people like Kate Stewart that their continued desperation is what this lockdown is all about? Lockdown is not in place to save lives - because the science says it doesn't do that. Lockdown is in place and will be kept in place until Kate and all like her, who run small/medium businesses cannot carry on. Every day of lockdown brings more closed businesses, more people put on to welfare. I phoned talkRADIO some months ago, suggesting a state-of-play board as a backdrop to the presenters, showing the daily figures for such so that we might have a balance to all the spurious figures pushed at us daily regarding 'covid deaths'. As can be seen, that went down like a lead fart.

  2.  @chollis380  The billions are funny-money. Fiat is dying and will soon (speeded along by the strangling of trade and the resultant crash) be worthless. In that knowledge the government are happy to just throw numbers. How much was a loaf in Weimar Germany?
