  1. The course of the lockdown is directly in opposition to the direction of the viral outbreak. As it peters out the lockdown measures are ramped up. When the virus is no longer able to affect anyone, the more severe the lockdown measures are at the time of necessary lifting, the less will have to be lifted in order to bring relief. Thus we will be persuaded to the 'new normal' in which we are not allowed to travel as we used to, not allowed to gather as we used to; our lives will be lived under their latest slogan 'build back better'. Their cheery slogans will give us what in truth we already had words for: "communism", "totalitarianism", "authoritarian".
