  1. Just how long do 'believers' (in lockdown's efficacy) think that this should go on? According to Susan Michie of SAGE (one of the 'behaviourists' mentioned, and leading member of the UK Communist Party) we cannot come out of lockdown until we have a zero infection rate. Any estimated time that might take, Susan? Recent months have filled believers' conversation with their high hopes for 'when we get the vaccine'. Well, we've now got it, and look what a game-changer it's turning out not to be. This is vaccine, remember, that has been so expensively sought to fight a virus that a) ceased to be a pandemic in early June at the latest, and b) was only ever a danger to a tiny part of the population. How long can it be before the stripping-down of our economy starts to register in the minds of believers, that this is not the right path to be taking? When the bread shelves are empty? When the power shortages kick-in? When the whole stack falls and their money is worthless?
