MMT has wheedled its way into many, especially young minds, and instances of its folly need to be argued with more rigour than can be expected from a one-liner.

  4. I think of the millions of £s that have been wasted so effectively by the British state education system over the past, going on now for over five decades. All of this time, parents were under the impression that their children were receiving the finest education. With very few exceptions they were in fact being subjected to a rigorous yet covert conditioning that has resulted in a population dumb enough to believe the c0r0na nonsense, and to busy themselves with 'staying safe' while the bankers destroy the economy that feeds them, so as to render them desperate, grateful recipients of a UBI that can be controlled at whatever level the masters deem appropriate.

We're just coming up to the date by which we were promised that our third lockdown, which started in early December 2020, would end - that by 21 June we will be free from all restrictions. Recently, and by now, predictably, there has been a flurry of 'scientists' wheeled-out in the media, casting doubts on the wisdom of such a 'Freedom Day' as it has been labelled. We were told by our PM at the beginning of all this, that 'every family in the country will lose a loved one before their time'. I have lost no-one to the virus. However, I have lost three people who I knew personally, to suicide due to their changed circumstances, brought on by lockdown. Additionally, I have one friend and one extended family member, both of whom were late in getting diagnosed with cancer, and whose treatment dates have been delayed for reasons unspecified. We cannot travel abroad without crippling test fees. Certain areas are 'advised' even within England, to avoid travelling far from home.
