  1. A shift of such huge magnitude - getting most of the world's economies to stop dead - needed a great deal of meticulous planning over a long time. The break, not just in trade but over the whole of society, should not be thought of in the past tense; its effects are ongoing and the damage mounts. The imposition of lockdown measures was not a reaction to events; it was in fact the initiatory move in a concerted programme, executed by a very few people in crucial positions. "Lenin understood that it isn't your numbers that matter. It isn't you popular support that matters. You just paralyse the country [in this case, many countries] by occupying the key positions; and then you take over." (Prof' Donald Rayfield) The evidence grows daily, that points to the reality that the lockdowns were imposed not as a means of saving lives; because, patently, they do not. It follows then, that there must be another very strong motivation that made people in positions of power, impose strictures which they knew would be so damaging. Whatever could be worth such radical action and why did they feel the need to keep the truth from the people whose lives are affected so drastically?
