  1. The US and UK economies are both on the menu. Media news outlets continue to report on this situation as though there were a way back for all these people who are losing their jobs. Wake up; they're not coming back unless the lockdowns are lifted. It will have to happen very quickly. There is a point of not return and we in UK are very near it. Looks like you are too. That 'new normal' that seems such a cosy compromise? We already had a perfectly good term to describe it: 'communism'.
