  1. Really appreciate the work that Megan Kelly is getting done here, but I have to take exception to the figure of speech used in the title and propagated in this discussion as in so many others. There is the virus; then there is the response to the virus. The 'dangerous health risks to children' which are discussed here, are not 'covid' risks - the virus is not putting them at any risk. Children are being put at risk by the inordinate restrictions that authorities are enforcing. This is an important distinction. The 'pandemic' is as nothing to the massively deleterious lockdowns that young people especially have had/are having to deal with. To conflate the two is to continue to grant to a middle-ranking virus, a profile way beyond its actual status; and to bestow innocence on what is in fact, tyranny.
