That dream was made only in name: so many stipulations for the sake of a deal we should never have gone for. But then what can we expect: the establishment never wanted Brexit to begin with - they thought the public too "obedient" to choose to Leave. And so the last seven years so far have been, in a sense, an indirect "punishment" for our disobedience... and the people will keep voting anyway.

@widervision710 They're equally just as much puppets of the establishment as everyone else in the governmental system. When I voted for Brexit and I stand by that decision - the only time I ever voted as it didn't pertain to an individual or individuals; I voted for my own reason and likewise I stand by them. And sure, the empire is gone and rightly so - but we did not abolish it simply to annex ourselves to another one; especially the successor of the one our predecessors fought six long years in defiance of. Leaving was the right choice, but that simply wasn't and is demonstrating to not be the intentions of the establishment. They will have us slip right back in before the masses realise it - a single opportunity to have people really be independent and self-sustaining and they let it slip because of a myriad of distractions that had them frightened and easily swayed. The only part of the struggles that are unnecessary are the establishment's own doing...and people keep voting for them.

@louminarty Our removal from that court of "human rights" what a misnomer if ever I heard one, the obligations of financial input to a bloc we're supposed to be out of, the PESCO arrangement that basically has our military joined at the hip to Brussels, Northern Island - need I continue?
