People DID have a choice; instead of choosing to think critically, they listened to their fearmongering dictates and lined up with their sleeves up. "For tyrants to gain power, the good folk need only stay silent and step aside. You ALWAYS had a choice."

@vickyb6588 in other words they cowardly capitulated. I had people try that with me and I flat out told them to shove it.

@Johnnie W If I am wrong then the truth will come out one way or the other. I have a great degree of pride in my liberty and ability to think and critique but I'm not beyond reproach. And when proven without a shadow of doubt that I'm wrong I am always the first to put my hands up. But lo behold this time, I am not - the proof is in the pudding. Difference is I did my research long before this just conveniently got admitted to and the blind cowardly dullards had to face the truth they refused to look for themselves and mocked those like me who did otherwise.

@Johnnie W I looked into patterns regarding social behavior of those around me and then came to the conclusion as what the motive which those wanting power would have from this exploit of fear the masses and how it would benefit them. Then deduced the method to go about it via using examples of previous exercises in which this pattern was utilised previously - 9/11, Reichstag Fire and so on. Stories on the Internet gave hints and tips; most were taken with a pinch of salt if they couldn't objective the point of which was lead. The fact that they were targeted as "Misinformation" and justifying removal for "Our own good" are mantras of tyranny for if the powers were speaking the truth - why bother silencing the liars when they would eventually be their own undoing? Fear and Ego - control these in a person and you have control of them so long as they're not aware of the control. Then it was down to a little sense - not so common as most would believe. It takes 15 to 20 years for any jab to go through vigorous testing and they were claiming it was completed in 8 months... that in itself is a red flag. Now shall I continue, or have I made my argument valid? You don't even have to take it from me - do your own research. To aqquire your own knowledge is power, for without it you're powerless.

@paullancaster7066 that's true however common implies it's not hard to find - given the environment these days I'd say the opposite is more so.

@carouselcakes6237 if there ever is going to be a rebound from all this - as you rightfully claim, right now the damage has been done far too intrinsically into the fabric of modern society from top to bottom - the only way that's going to get done is through more conflict and a great deal of sacrifice to scrap it all and start over. It'll be bloody, messy and most won't see its conclusion as they'll be the casualty and tragically the lesson will be lost and the mistakes frustratingly repeated again and again. Sadness will be the price to see it end - as it has been time and again; what we're seeing is nothing new, just on a larger scale. Ages pass and yet humanity never learns.

@Graham gracious you're still alive then. Far be it for me to call you a fool should you take a fifth that they'll call for real soon i wager.

@carouselcakes6237 I agree to a point - glad to see you saw through the delusion. Most people took it either out of this almost traditional manner of believing that the powers that be have our interests in mind - which history shows that no government or power has ever cared about its people; even the socialists and communists claiming it have failed every time to actually follow through. Others merely took it out of fear of ridicule as most are just puppets - their strings pulled via the spotlight at the first sign of questioning. And from what I can deduce, they risked rushing due to how quickly they were immediately gathering criticism from the not so easily swayed. I see the last two years as a test to see how far the people can be pushed and the majority have failed it miserably. Seeing how they fell for the BS that is going on in Ukraine, they simply haven't learned a thing. You know what they say - "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me" My reasoning - tell a person how to actually better the country and they'll stare at you blankly. Mention something on Love Island or a football game and immediately almost everyone is a philosopher and have something to say. It's pathetic how weak minded most are; then again, ideological subversion has done it's work over the last century; each successive generation worse then the one preceeding it - little wonder the puppets are so blind-sided.

@Johnnie W 1, observational. 2, One could say that. 3, Three decades of justified misanthropy. 4, Given the number of people who seem to agree with me on here alone, you have that answer already.
2
@Johnnie W I think myself as someone who can think for myself and don't need approval of others to come to my own conclusions. If I'm right, I'm right, if I'm wrong it's my own fault and I've got to admit to that. But at least I can say I was wrong on my own terms - not having just nodded my head, agreed and then found out the wrong outcome could have been avoided with just a little contemplating and a compulsion to more then a few clapping hands and pat on the back for being a "Good boy".

@Johnnie W when someone comes along trying to take my freedom, fighting will be the first thing I'll be doing. I've stood by and backed people up who've refused it and who've been ridiculed and intimidated, attempting to shame them into compliance. I respect those who stick to their integrity and carry on despite the jeers of the imbeciles with a moral posture calling their rightful criticism a "selfishness". I mock and condemn the coward who capitulate meekly because they think they'll have an easy time of it. I don't expect everyone to stand on the front line, but damned if those who don't, choose keel over and play the Quisling. When asked my view, it is always given, unadulterated, blunt, direct and no regard or care to whether or not the truth will offend. So what do you want to know now? My favourite pizza topping?
2
@barriewilliams4526 almost 8 billion on this earth and I'm a misanthrope, you got a point?
2
@vickyb6588 my high horse comes from my misanthropy actually since I have little liking of humanity - but it's the cowards, the hypocrites and the turncoats who I have the highest of contempt for. They aren't victims, they're fools following the crowd for something as pathetic as acceptance - strung along like puppets and now cry for sympathy from the rest who called out the bullshit and whom were spurned for it.

@Graham thanks for telling me.

@vickyb6588 there were warnings from the start. They had their choice and they chose to follow the panic of the weak minded who's thoughts consist of commerce and dung. When the options are in front of you, you have no excuses. I mean honestly if you thought I was crazy at the start, take the shot. If you think I was lying, take the shot. But don't just take it because you were being given orders. That didn't pass at Nuremberg and it won't pass for those pushing for it today. I'm quite familiar with the fact that ideological subversion has been taking place over the last hundred years - but we had Blair's illegal war based on WMD's which were known to be non-existent, Brown's selling of the gold reserves which we haven't based our currency on since about 1915. So if anyone has been so blind by the delusion then I have no obligation to fix the mess they've made for themselves. They've proven it again by falling for the Ukraine crap, which is so easy to figure out. Were the roles reversed, they would abandon us all the same and you know it.

@Johnnie W more is the fool who gains wisdom and knowledge, yet does nothing with it. I'm only in certainty because of the obvious lie being perpetrated, about as absolute as Newton's Law involving a rock dropped in a pond.
1
@Johnnie W I can tell you what I'm not doing - standing in line waiting to roll my sleeve up over a concoction they either didn't know what it'd do, or know what it will do and are responsible for the destruction of countless lives, financially and medically over a cough they panicked people over whilst putting through laws to censor any opposition be it in person or in comments. Like the last comment I put here in response (Nice try YT, thanks for proving my point.) Now are you going to join in the conversation as the reasonable, intelligent fellow I trust you practice in being; seeing as you're preaching in me apparantly not being, or are you going to continue asking stupid questions to which I'll start giving sarcastic and stupid answers?
1
@Johnnie W I go on about it, because it's not the first time in the last ten years where something has been taken out of proportion in order to enact changes to which the feckless fear addled puppets jump at without actually thinking it through.
1
@barriewilliams4526 you realise the majority of people who actually died OF it and not just with it, is an arbitrary percentage? Someone that just had the cough and was getting over it but happened to get hit by a bus and died were also put down as a statistic death to inflate those numbers. You realise a great deal of people are pretty much screwed for life for having taken that shot? You realise cancer patients and countless others were denied their necessary treatments because of that stupid cough and the nurses and doctors who were suppose to be doing their job were too busy making stupid dance videos?
