@randomuser4201 and for how long? Now since he can talk the talk, time for him to prove he's not all show and no go - and take in a couple families on his own expenses. He wants them here, he can pay for them himself.

Arrest the smugglers on this side of the channel and each group that get here on the boats; send right back under armed guard via ferry. Simple.

@robbie_ well that's France's problem, not ours. They came from France originally, it's France's issue to deal with. It's not up to us to take on board their mess, when they should have refused them entry in the first place!

@robbie_ don't even need to go that far really - just stop the boat a few miles off shore, put them in their beloved dinghies and let them arrive back on Calais' shores. You're the one who needs to get real buddy - the illegals are NOT our problem!

Far as I'm concerned my message is clear and firm: they need returning; if a bleeding heart wants to help them so much, they can house them, themselves instead of burdening the taxpayer and get a first hand view as to what they want to let into the country, for themselves. "Practice what you preach" basically. Any questions?

Not even hindsight really - Heath lied to the British people for what they were voting to be a part of. Had he told them it wasn't just a trading bloc and was leading to an inevitable fourth reich which the EU is in all but name: they'd have told him to shove that membership right up his arse.
