You're wishful thinking - even if he managed to get a government with his party, the establishment would give him the choice: either tow the line like those before him and take his slice, or go the route of the people and have the media utterly destroy him in the minds of the dulled masses to be out of power faster then you can say "Liz Truss tried."

Ffs... NO. No more voting - it does no good! By putting your vote, you're giving consent to the establishment to act how they wish with your backing; whether your party wins or loses and the parties themselves do the bidding of the establishment, not you the voter. So all you're doing, is what they want you to do and yet you're objecting to them... by doing what they want you to do? WAKE. UP.

@johnkitching2248 You mean someone who you don't agree with.

@johnkitching2248 Yet that is what you're meaning but just not wanting to admit it. Had he been saying anything to the contrary of his stance I wager you would not have made your comment as you have.

@susancurtis1651 None of them. I know the vote for the farce it is - each party is like a cup filled with water from the same source: no matter which you drink from, one isn't suddenly going to be orange juice. They're all puppets to the system, a system to whom you consent to act as it's leaders wish, when they wish - regardless of who you vote for and regardless of whether your candidate wins or loses or whether their party wins or loses. That's the condition of your vote and it's the ultimate con - to justify their activity and for you to lose any right to complain about it. You whine about the state of the country and yet you play the game of the system by their rules. That's like fighting a war for peace or - forgive the crudeness: forncating for virginity.

@Thirdfish And if not them then to whoever wins power and appealing to the status quo.

@tonyh1515 there is ALWAYS another choice - about the only good one, no one will do.

@gail9299 No, the best thing Brits could do is reject the entire system of governance and the establishment as it's proven itself inept, self invested or disinterested, take your pick. If you really want liberty and a return of power to people then people need to stop voting in someone to do the thinking for them and start taking responsibility for themselves. Which as I stated above - no one will do; they're simply too lazy and dependant.

@johnkitching2248 We'll file that under 'nerve touched'. Keep on ranting. #MindlessPuppet #ICanMakePointlessHashTagsToo
