@vntinvestments226 name a nation that doesn't. Those that don't, but only in name do not count.

1102 - Slavery in England was outlawed. 1806 - Slavery outside of Britain but under its control was abolished. 1833 - 40 percent of the value of the empire was invested in paying out the persistent owners of slaves in those regions in order to free their slaves. 2015 - that debt had only just been paid back. Miraculously considering the little value of world currency these days. "Rewriting history"? Most barely even take a note of what happens in history outside of their vaunted interest in what benefits them.

@anthonyheslop5336 those slaves in England were unlawful due to the law set, as I mentioned in 1102 - due to the number as shown in the paperwork, a small minority of aristocrats blatantly ignored the law and the masses were completely unaware of the happenings as they themselves were top busy just making it through the day for themselves and their families: and much like the slaves themselves, they weren't exactly living the high life. Someone clearly caught wind of it and rightfully put it forward to free them in England and the rest of the UK. It wouldn't be until 1806 that the empire enacted to ban it completely across its properties.

And how many English, Irish and Scots were responsible for that then and how many can be held accountable for it now? How many guns were used and who was the one who ordered the firing of the trigger? And I answer: TOO FEW to blame the entire nation. Especially since the majority weren't exactly enjoying the high life either.

Regardless of your sentiments, Bonnie, in their eyes: we're less then that, we're simply a number.

@radicalrodriguez5912 and unfortunately that's not about to happen. LabCons make up the established system in the nation: they essentially rule under the illusion of democracy in which the result would always be the same, whether parliament is draped in either red or blue.

@Luvie1980 so every newborn German child today should be told the moment they draw breath "You're guilty for the actions that your great, great grandaddy may or may not have done"? Get a grip: and I say this as a descendant of a German Jewish woman who emigrated from Germany in 1931 with her husband while her family stayed behind and likely were killed in those camps.
