No government in the entire existence of the human race has EVER had the interest of its people in mind. People keep forgetting that and keep making the mistake of trusting it.

@Scott Smith realistically in the short term; there isn't one. The only real sure fire way is one that will not be popular until left with no other choices other then it or forever interned into blind obedience. That alternative is for each and every person being self reliant, responsible and involved beyond just trusting one person to be out there trustworthy for them. People "Don't do politics" or do their own research into things because they get bored - like how we get bored of the thought of brushing our teeth and wiping our arse. But for us we simply know there's no enjoyment in the act, it's just work and some people just accept it and get on with it like an adult but the majority would just rather die. And they're the cause of their own misery when they realise the one they voted for is a crook and yet throw a vote at yet another crook - like using oil to put out a fire then wondering why nothing changes other then for the worse. In short they won't do what it takes because Eddie Barzoon.
