  1. Coinciding mainly with a generation that stopped actually disciplining their kids. The parents are at fault - either at fear of being ridiculed for spanking their child or believing in the absence of it. I tell you, the things most brats do today, I was disciplined for much less and I never thought badly of my parents for it looking back. It sucked then, but it worked later.
