"The fact that politicians are such barefaced liars reflects not only on them, but also on us. When the people want the impossible, only liars can satisfy" So is familiar hell, better then unknown heaven?
2
@archstanton6310 😂 You serious?!
2
@debbzev You talk as if people actually give two shits - most don't vote on who the person is, they vote either out of habit or self interest. And let's face it for politics, when the people want the impossible it's only the liars who satisfy enough to get the vote. That and the decent ones will never get to hold the reins as they don't go along with the intentions of the status quo.
2
@archstanton6310 I rest my case.
2
Why bother? Just "lock" their cell door and let an "Accident" happen. Thing about prisoners - there's a lot of bad fuckers among them, but even THEY have standards and the likes of those who hurt and do stuff to kids and the elderly... let's just say, they don't last very long if not segragated...

I do so truly hope I am wrong, but I do not expect for them to find her well.

He's a pillock that much is true, he couldn't even get Brexit done properly - none of them could or would.

While I certainly hold no candle for the Tories: given Labour's own track record - are they much better? "But Labour haven't been in power since 2010..." you might argue - well Tories hadn't been in power since 1997 before that and behold the state we're in... about the only thing that was a push in the right direction was Brexit and they've managed to bollocks that one up.
1
@jujutrini8412 yes I do, as well as each year in between.
1
@jujutrini8412 and do you know HOW these Tory policies got in, in the first place? From what I recall - Blair dragged us into an illegal war, Brown sold off what was left of the gold reserves for a fraction of the value, for a currency that is backed on debt. And that debt has to be paid... and how can you do that? You can't. And thus you raise the wage... just what is accomplished by it when not only the tax goes up, the price of everything else? I'll tell you - NOTHING. The only one who benefits is the union leader and isn't it funny the leader is never in the same financial situation as those they charge to be in the union... and here we're calling the Tories for being parasitic. Then we have this obsession with Polticial Correctness which has only spurned resentment in people rightfully which was imposed so as to prevent backlash from the opening of the borders, a generation brought up with the idea of that if you punch out kid after kid, the government will pay for it. And by the time I was 20, only a few girls in my year didn't have them: the number I can count with the fingers on one hand and most of the little shits have no incentives or discipline - because they know there aren't any actual consequences for their actions. All this under Labour and you still wonder just how the Tories got in? And you want these maniacs back in?! Starmer won't even dare define what a woman is on live TV! And as for gas... well it just happens to be a pity that we listened to the bleeding hearts and stopped most of the North Sea drilling isn't it... to then be left primarily dependant on a country we're now putting sanctions on for their scuffle with another that's being heralded as a hero state and yet it's leader has outlawed the opposition, essentially making it a dictatorship in denial. If you're trying to fool anyone, at least try not fooling yourself. Tories and Labour are on the same page and delude the public that they're opposed. Take the hint.

@GraemePryce1978 wasn't built in a day, but it sure as hell burned down in one night.
1
@GraemePryce1978 finished your little blowout? I'm no Tory apologist, so I don't need your advice and i certainly don't need your permission to speak however I fucking well please. Newsflash Pryce: Labour weren't anything miraculous or anything special then and they aren't now. In fact they're just as bad as the Tories today - and need I remind you it was a Labour PM that dragged us into an illegal war without the consent of parliament - with sanctions that perhaps saw to the deaths of 500,000 Iraqi kids. Then his successor sold off what was left of the gold reserves for a smidgen of the value which on further exacerbated inflation and need I remind you of how three little words cost Brown the election? Spoiler alert - those words were "Bigoted old woman" and here he was from a party that imposed political correctness to stem off the outrage from Blair having ripped up the borders so as to appease his EU masters. And in recent years - Labour not only wanted stricter lock down, they wanted to push for compulsory vaccination! I could on: but a typical little bleeding heart on a moral escapade; such as yourself will only see what he wants to see. So I'll leave you with only this - Wake the fuck up boy, The Tories and Labour like every other political party are playing from the same handbook whilst you're singing from the same song sheet of those crying "wayyyycist" because you haven't got a clue what you're on about other then the fact you would continue on wanting big bwother government giving you handouts at the expense of those who value hard work and revere whatever shred of identity this country has managed to preserve in what can only be called a self-mutilation the crying left insist is "enrichment"

@callinater6133 you find most crimes are a matter of necessity, over desire. Murderers and thieves usually have a motive and inventive and whilst that doesn't make them at all a modern, decent human being, they do have that line that even they won't cross. Even the mafia won't touch kids for instance and those are the sort who won't think twice to off you if you cross them.

Sunak, you unelected sellout...

And just which one is even going to consider putting that policy forward, much less vote in approval of it?
1
@drozycoder2007 oh don't feed me a turd and tell me it's a Snickers: those lockdowns saw a huge rise in domestics and suicides and you ought to know that. "Saved lives" Pah! It ruined countless!
1
@mrsswindon Well it only took an illegal war to do it - how's his search for WMDs going along?
1
@mrsswindon well given a state of war goes hand in hand with the increase of investment, you ought to realise his foreign policy goes hand in hand with his economic - given he did so by basically screwing over the British people by raising the taxes, ripping open the doors of our borders and imposed a ridiculous notion of political correctness to stifle the backlash.
