You can only con a greedy person.

@Dustin-65 Yeah, good luck with that. No other predator has as high a success rate with mice and rats as a cat and rodents are quick to become resistant to poisons and smart enough to avoid certain traps until then. So it's either the cats or the rodents - you decide.

@828enigma6 And they equally kill more mice and rats that eat the eggs of those birds thus keeping the equilibrium in check.

@greeleyestateslove And how could one be innocent when the incentive is for profit or to benefit? That's a call to greed.

@patrickbateman7369 5 and I'm the 5th - and my reason is simple: the majority of kids growing up with absentee parents along with the massive increase in mental health problems ought to be telling. It's the denial of the fact Matty put, that has raised a generation of self-centered, egotistical dullards that thinks the world is owed them and will go to any length to do it - violently if necessary. Do you get this in households with a responsible mother and father? Certainly, but not to such degree - the exception to the rule does not negate said rule. If that makes me "backward thinking" then I'd rather be labeled that, then a regressive, "progressive" Eddie Barzoon.

@AspieGirlArianaHale pretentious much? I make my own sandwiches thank you very much. I'm the sort who expects people to realise their actions have consequences - you can dish out all the remarks you want, but at the end of the day: you're expected to take responsibility for your actions, especially as a parent Or am I too farfetched in the idea that you're the sort who thinks it's perfectly acceptable to pursuit all the liberties and luxuries but none of the accountability and responsibilities for them.

Course it does. Someone saw something unidentified, so what?

Yeah the last time they tried that, the rodents population exploded and they culled far more then what the cats that kept the rodents in check ever could.

@Kaelmerun Might as well try platting fog. It can't be done. Simple as.

@B_superscript3 You really don't know the nature of pests then if that's what you've come to the conclusion as a result. And this isn't a matter of moral posture, it's a matter of fact.
