@CBonduMiel Just one MINOR detail you're not considering: Ukraine can not and will not be ever able to afford to pay all it owes back. And even with the backing, there's always the fact that if they lose, the winner has no obligation to pay Ukraine's debt, so it's more a gamble than an investment. @CBonduMiel How and with what. The world is bankrupt because money hasn't had any actual physical collateral since a hundred years ago. So Ukraine in your little scenario would be paying off debt with debt, which was amounted to by a currency in the states backed by debt. An never ending cycle. A race to the bottom. And BTW - Britain hasn't paid anything of note, just like nowhere else, because following WWII, it too was bankrupt.
