Awareness and choice - the problem is that AI no matter how advanced it gets, can never achieve those two things and without them, it can never be perceived as intelligence - merely a mimic of what it's creator and admin installs. Basically AI is an attempt to imitate life and that simply isn't something you can put into mere code. Hell we cant even decipher the brain of a human being into data, much less create the data to try and generate one. The Internet in its entirety right now with all its data could easily be input into a single person's mind and not even take up a fraction of the space within its confines - this ought to tell the Ai advocates something.
