@Gambit771 Seems my last reply was removed - nerve touched somewhere it seems. But in short - you need to look at what's called terms and conditions; in an election, if you vote then you automatically consent permission of authority to whoever wins, be it your choice or not and they can act wholly in your name, good or foul.

@nowherepeople3431 You obviously have never read the fine print in the writing of a contract. Sign or tick in the assigned area and you agree to all its terms and conditions. Same with an election - you tick the box and you automatically grant permission to the winner of that election to do what they want, when they want - even if your choice isn't the one who wins. Any changes made until the next time are automatically authorised and any deeds they commit are done in your name. So if you're a voter and you don't like what governments have done in your time, you can only ever blame those who've voted one way or another.

@Gambit771 You understand it but most don't - and those who vote tend to vote in the direction they always have simply out of habit, not out of actual thought. And because they'll vote SNP again, by default by voting you've permitted them to act in your name. Tell me, how far gone must a person be in mind to blindly partake in the very process they hate and wind up permitting?
