@vegan chick So tell me, where do you plan to grow your food? And then where are you going to grow enough for the world's population? Oh that's right, in environments where animals have to be pushed out and risk loss of their numbers because of it. Be forced to compete in lesser areas for their own food since humans need the food they grow and can't have animals acting like pets so many will be killed in that pursuit. Call meat eaters all you want, we're at least honest about it - you can't even practice what you're claiming to preach.

@americanspirit8932 touching story and sentimental but I'm an obligate meat eater with the view that if something isn't meant to be eaten it's poisonous. Never been poisoned by a steak, chop or leg and so a steak, chop and leg will remain part of my diet. I don't go advocating the injuring and abusing of animals however, plus I believe you should only kill one if you plan to eat it. And I stand by that as when I was ten I went touring around an abattoir and even bolted one of the animals that was then processed - so I've done the deed myself and I can say I practice what I preach. So your view is acknowledged but it will not sway me.

Corvidae are among the smartest of animals - forever curious and always interested in solving problems of their own. One advantage she's certainly got - few pests would dare try to infest her home. Bugs make for good food and Corvids are territorial; meaning they'll seldom tolerate anything else trying to inhabit their perceived property.
