While I am not a royalist and far from an imperialist - unlike any other empire you can name, Britain left behind in each country it's culture and identity; a means to govern and a means to improve but only a select few have actually bothered to on their own.

You know how many wealth people in Britain there were at the time and the amount of average men who went into the line of duty outside their own country? An arbitrary number - so do not lump the majority in with the deeds of a minority. The majority were too busy irking a living to support themselves and their family - you know, the very unit that "modern progression" is looking to undermine? And more specific to the point - as many already have - name a single country and so in not guilty of the act themselves. I'll wait a long time because none have ever existed. Even the native American and Aboriginal tribes were at each others throats for the same purpose long before Britain came along.
