And yet the voting public enabled him.

Voters accepted all decisions in advance when they crossed their box of choice.

@MargaretBeattie-f5x Even if neither get in again, their successors will carry on regardless. Establishment will demand it.
5
@lsmith992 Glad you and i are both on the same page about that at least.
5
Unfortunately he cant be. When the masses crossed the box of their choice, they accepted the decisions made by the winner in advance.
4
@derekslaven3454 unfortunately the public accepted the system and so his decisions in advance are made in each voters name.
4
@Andy-kj1rc They all lie to you. And i suppose you've never heard the expression - "Precise wording of a contract."
3
@janetblackford8450 There isnt anywhere on the ballot that says the winner has to do anything specific - it gives the winner overall the permission from the entire voting body to "lead" how they want, when they want. And Truss was removed for far less. The fact Starmer hasnt - what does that tell you. Tells me he's doing EXACTLY what he's told to by those who really run the country.
3
@stephencurran4155 And who's fault is that? Politicians have done that since time immemorial. There was nothing on the ballot paper that swore him to any actions, nor that he had to tell the truth... and yet people crossed the box, signing the contract anyway.
1
@Andy-kj1rc Then you ought to realise that if you voted, you signed away all right to complain as you accepted all choices and actions in advance. And even if Labour are out; their successors will do exactly the same. Its sad - this is nothing new and yet people never learn.
1
@coling7819 And the rest of the vote? It works by the majority outcome - it may have only been a set number, but it was the most out the lot. And when you crossed that box, you accepted those terms. Don't vote - THEN you have every right to complain.
1
@F1ght1ngIrish- Since when was anyone ever accountable for the terms of a contract they never signed? Those who didnt vote retain their rights and hold no responsibility for everything Starmer has, or anyone else would have done. After all how do you think establishment's puppets get in, in the first place??
1
@Andy-kj1rc and the other 70% who voted, still accepted the terms of the outcome. Whether for him, or not.
1
@Torahcamefirst2025 And where on the ballot did it say he had to tell the truth? And even though you chose reform, you still accepted the conditions of the outcome. Even if Reform got in - nothing would have changed because they answer to the same masters that Starmer and all the rest do.
1
@AuntMaude irrelevant. The status quo still stands.
1
@jenriordan Therefore none of them have a right to complain. They gave that up the instant they signed the contract.
1
@Andy-kj1rc The crossed boxes on the ballots say different.
1
@Andy-kj1rc Probably won't, but what people are just not wanting to accept is the fact that no matter what party gets in, no matter what they promise - the result will always be the same. Establishment has an agenda and they're not going to let anyone upset that. So all voters are doing is keeping that system going despite their complaints.
1
@Andy-kj1rc Even if Reform got in - nothing would change. Farage would be made to toe the line or like Truss, be replaced. Democracy is dictatorship being polite - always was and still is. There's only one way out of this mess and too many people cling desperately to the idea they have a choice in a system that has duped them so easily, so its not likely to happen.
1
@Andy-kj1rc No change will come through the system, but too many are too inert, too dependant on it despite their complaints that they'll keep enabling it. They're their own worst enemy. Democracy is dictatorship being polite; never forget.
1
@Andy-kj1rc Said change won't come through the system. Democracy is dictatorship being polite- never forget that.
1
@Andy-kj1rc And it wont change - the system is the problem.
1
You voted thus you gave the winner full permission to make choices in advance.
1
@margaretreid8692 The same big boss that all of them in government, business, law and media answer to...
1
@lindajones7219 Him and everyone a part of the system. Starmer's just not so bright so as to conceal it.
1
@valeriegrimshaw1365 hes not unwell - he's a willing puppet of the establishment and obeys their orders like all those before him; its just that hes not quite good at concealing it.
1
@douglastodd1947 Its called the voters consent. When you cross the box - you accept all their decisions as legal in your name.
