He's a puppet like all of them are - faces for you to blame while the ones who really run things go unimpeded.

I trust you didn't vote then, cause if you did then you accepted the process and regardless of whether you like or hate him - you still conceded to the possibility he would get in.
3
@Aegmog I played no part. You however ticked the box and consented to the process - so Labour got in through YOUR part. Well done, faithful puppet.
2
They and every other voter.
1
Them and anyone else who ticked a box thinking there's a difference.

@lesigh1749 I give myself as opposition instead of depending on a complete stranger to do it for me under the pretense of "representing me" You took part? Then whether for them or not, you gave the ones who own both sides what they want - your compliance and obedience. Really, they couldn't thank you enough. 🙄
1
@lesigh1749 And that is exactly how the establishment wants you to think. Carry on, little puppet. Or perhaps snap your strings and realise that you're being played - greatest way to control a people is convincing them that they have a choice then limit that choice to those who serve the same master.

@veronikaquick6738 I gave no permission for anyone to "govern" in my name. I hold my rights, rather then submit to voted privileges that can just as easily be taken away as they are given.
1
@veronikaquick6738 And unfortunately your argument to stand with Reform falls short as it would any other: they all answer to the exact same few who really run things. A certificate sure, but does that sign my consent? No it doesn't. Hence they have to ask every so many years and call it a choice. All you're doing is choosing the face but not the goal. It's an exercise in futility in which you are your own prisoner. Unfortunately the masses buy into it and then wonder and whine when things don't go as they're falsely promised it will. But as a man once said 'easier to fool the man than it is to make him understand he has been fooled' - that and the masses look at responsibility for themselves with frightened abandon. They'd sooner live in the illusion of freedom than to actually dwell in it.

@lesigh1749 A democracy in which majority rules, then claims equality for all. Note the paradox in the hypocrisy. Ask yourself - if no one were to vote, who governs? And I tell you this the faces govern when selected and they govern as ordered by those who call things. You do give permission - you concede to the winner, even if they're not your choice do you not?
1
@veronikaquick6738 And that certificate means what of consent? Nothing. Simply means someone else acknowledges I exist. But you see your choice for Reform is the same as any other - they all answer to the same few, so all you're doing is more of the same. I stand simply for people to decide and act for themselves - but then people are so addled with the urgency to obey that it's easier to fool them then make them see that they have been and they believe it better a familiar hell, than an unknown heaven.
1
@lesigh1749 You think yourself free? If you need to go asking someone else whether or not you can do this or that then you are not free. And as for "rights" that's comedy in of itself - you claim you take part for yours; the irony is you surrender yours the moment you tick.
1
@lesigh1749 spoken like an obedient puppet, of a scenario you never asked for - you simply accepted. And when your government does what it does best, you complain and go on about replacing it with another one? Now who's stomping their feet. I gain my freedom by choosing my rights and being prepared to stand my ground by them; unlike you and every other cowed puppet, I don't need to have someone tell me what I can and cannot do, or say or think. If I'm prepared to deal with the response to any of those choices and go all the way to hold my ground, those rights are mine and can't ever be taken - if I submit I lose them. Can you say the same, or do you need someone who you don't even know and who truly cares less about you, to permit you.
1
@lesigh1749 You complain when your government acts as it does and demand a different one - yet I'm the one stomping my feet? I stand my ground for my own choices and I determine my freedoms. Can you say the same or do you need your permission slip, signed by someone who you don't even know and who cares even less about you.

@lesigh1749 I pour my scorn on those too weak willed and too clueless to realise they're actively acting as their own jailers in the belief there's actually a difference. But you go then; go tick your little box, clap your hands like a trained seal and maybe your "magical" government is going to just change things for you. I swear, I've seen my fair share of parties - entertained debate with all of them and the more I have, the more I compare you participants as being in an abusive relationship. Completely deluded and in denial of the fact you have a way out, but keep hanging about with the same excuse "It'll be different this time..." it's sad at first, then it becomes pathetic as there is simply no helping someone who won't even attempt to help themselves. I answered the question; you just don't want to face the reality. I'm free because I don't acknowledge any of the system or those in it; you on the other hand cling to it, because without someone to tell you what to do, you'd just stand there with a vacant look and a mind filled with hopelessness.
1
@lesigh1749 Well I tell you what - go grovel behind a group of strangers, hope they throw you a bone and then blame only yourself when they disappoint you over and over again. I have the freedom of bearing no responsibility for their antics, my name isn't logged next to a ticked box of choice - tell me, with Starmer and Co removing your privilege of free speech; how does it feel knowing you enabled that? I have my rights which I'm ready to stand my ground for at all times; you only have privileges they can take from you at any time; you accepted that the moment you ticked. "Shadowy them?" You need only wipe your eyes and unplug your ears to see and understand those who really run things - the same lot who no matter who you put in parliament, will always be the ones answered to and you in your wilful ignorance encourage and enable them.
1
@veronikaquick6738 Of course I offer nothing - that's the point. I'm not here to hold your hand just as you aren't here to hold mine. Better that than the false promises politicians make just so you'll comply and accept the process. As for Hell; I don't speak of it lightly, I'm aware of what that is.
1
@lesigh1749 That's right puppet. Keep telling yourself that. I wrote a more detailed argument. Got removed - now I wonder why that is... your puppeteers don't like people thinking for themselves.
1
@lesigh1749 I'm sorry, am I making you wake up from your little dream? My freedoms are my own. Should try it sometime.
1
@lesigh1749 A demoralised loser? 😂 this coming from one who actually believes what a politician says? They do that for a living; gulling the gullible into ticking the box. One of us is a realist, the other is a hopeless wonder - and I can tell you I am not the latter. I at least have my own solutions, you cry for someone to give you a solution; even for something as ridiculous as getting your foot caught in a bucket. Now go back to sleep and remain wilfully ignorant and forever disappointed.
1
@lesigh1749 Shall I give you a few cookies and a glass of warm milk to help you. I do absolutely nothing I'm told to, I do as I personally am inclined; you're the one doing as you're told as you're the sort putting them into power only to then do as they're told by the select few who run things. Come back when you can truly tell me of anyone vying for power that isn't going to choose compliance over complete bankruptcy of the nation because of a fiscal debt that can't ever be repaid; in the name of the weak minded folk who let it get this far.

Wow nerve touched again - responding with truths establishment doesn't like. And the likes of "LeSigh" actually believes they have a choice.

As far as i care - he and his puppeteers are in charge of two things: Jack and Shit. And Jack isn't here.
