And it was we Brits who stopped it first - the very ones who are now scorned the worst for it. In parts of Africa and Asia, it still continues without impedence or objection; how ironic.

@miotyuori7331 which ironically the big businesses and opportunists yearn for and justify not doing a thing about these broken borders ad a means to ensure it. And yet the law has been blatantly clear for the better part of a millennium: a slave on the shores of the British Isles is a free man... Then again the term of slavery seems to have changed with the times.

Despite the fact that owning slaves in Britain has been illegal since 1102 and in fact Africans themselves have been and in some countries in Africa still sell slaves... oh but no one one ever wants to talk about that... or the fact the first slave owner in the US was in fact black himself. It's always so amusing how they pick and choose which part of history they want to use to justify their bs.
