  3.  @DG-iw3yw  What do you expect? We as a species have only managed to excel at four things at most - Forgetting the past and it's lessons. Repeating the mistakes while forgetting the past and it's lessons. Pointing the finger at others yet failing to look at ourselves. And denial, because the ego and pride can't take it. Beyond that - every "progression" has been as a result of those four. The only real cure to it is to live within a dictatorship where you're told your place and you stay in it... and frankly who'd want to live like that? Who'd even be the one to decide that? Who'd be the one to enforce that perspective on the following generation and those following who would have no idea as to how things were prior? Thus the cycle continues once again. Misanthropic and borderline nihilistic as it is to say - the trouble with the human race, is that it's full of people. I'm accepting that stance marvelously.
