Until they're made dependant on it - ever heard of optional obsolescence? You would have to be incredulous to think they would just treat people freely for the betterment of humankind. Ever wonder why the pharmaceutical industry is one of the highest grossing industries in the world along with food/energy production and arms dealing?

@cliveklg7739 my mother died last year needing the most basic treatment - that was denied for the sake of paranoia of a simple cough. All that was needed was a diagnosis in the early stage and a dose of antibiotics and in the two weeks she was in that hospital neither was implomented. Believe me, your snide remark carries little weight; lifesaving means nothing if the most basic is denied in exchange for the asinine.
