  2. The elephant in the room - the rosters aren't deprived of talent, they're deprived of character and proper development as well as the opportunities to delve deeper to get through to people. For all the talk of edginess and "Times have changed" the reality is, that's utterly irrelevant. The fact is that for the sake of pandering to the easily offended and I dare say the inclusion crowd; it has gone from a source of entertainment, to a source of sheer BOREDOM. Try to please everyone, you will please no one. But then it's easy to be equal, when everyone's equally miserable.
