@hwoarang2001 As sickening as it is; I'm inclined to agree. We find ourselves sickened at the thought of any society where one is treated less then another, dictating how we should act and behave... yet lo behold what happens when we ourselves are presented with a situation we can't seem to stomach and try and impose upon. Hence I always said that equality across humanity; like it or not, is an illusion. A fantasy driven by those who simply can't accept reality and often descend into hypocrisy when they call for tolerance and yet can't show it themselves. Hence I say, let Japan do what it does in its borders and have Japan let us do what we do in ours. When in Rome.

@elpacho6173 Sad but true. Unfortunately that isn't going to change unless it happens from within the country by their own volition, not from the pretentious whims and demands from outside it.

@spacebunsarah call me cynical for saying it, but whilst I agree with you, unfortunately what you advocate is yet another round of existence. All societies experience the following: it's ideals accepted, it's capabilities harnessed, it's laws enacted and it's place set in stone. Then once it's all been set then comes the attempts to make things easy, those then come seeking opportunity in the light of such are elevated to power to concern over such matters but the matters are never resolved and before its even noticed, they're given too much authority from the masses who want the rights and the freedoms but not the responsibility and the work it takes to keep them. They become decadent and self serving, passing on law upon law making so many things illegal that people tread on eggshells out of an indoctrinated state of guilt they've been in since birth. Then the decadence spreads in which morality is soon a question of whether you like the person who's view you're then hearing. Eventually things become too much and the society revolts and everything collapses, leading to tell rise of new ideals and those accepting them. My point is that if in Japan the resentment is there for matters like this, in its people then it will inevitably boil over. But no country other then those utterly conquered have ever changed their ways with outside involvement - those influences are often blind to the matters within their own and so nothing changes.

@Kokozaftran if wishes were fishes the world would be an ocean; as much as no one likes assholes, you can't take away their right to be assholes.
