@kennekan7990 and you say that, from a Chinese perspective without American or English CC? You criticise because the others on this post are in your mind being narrow minded yet you prove little different on the other side of the fence.

@sethgaston8347 not only that; I fully agree with you, self dependence and true freedom requires personal responsibility and accountability for ones own failures. And so few of us are raised to accept that duty. People these days want all the luxuries but none of the work it takes to get it, hence corruption and manipulation finds it so easy to take root.

@kennekan7990 I don't see how you can expect the world to honor such a regime that was founded on mass starvation and the coercion of the people's freedom as a cost for a stability that has only benefited a select few and those they can pay for good global press. This isn't an altruism, it's a veil of tyranny to which it's own people have become adapted to so much that they'd be lost without it. Frankly I don't see much difference between the CCP and North Korea. As for Asian hate: my family has Jewish Roots and my great grandmother's family were living in Germany back in the 1930s - don't try playing that card with me.

@kennekan7990 not at all hard to answer, actually. Firstly the only reason China is financially more able then Korea is down to the fact that North Korea's lunatics went and said out loud what they were doing, so the world put sanctions on them. The CCP went the different tact but enough people have left China and can tell you the difference between there and here once they're acclimatised. The only reason the likes of the US feel threatened; or given the 'leadership" these days, did feel threatened was because their financial support in various businesses found their stocks waning due to cheaper alternatives coming from China and flooding the market. It was more about corporations pockets rather then the people, but now the mentality is now seeming to try and appease such a dictatorship to the point of imposing cultural changes in the country. And the US isn't the only country going down this bleak path. Peace, collaboration and stability... you mean censorship, obedience and subjugation. The Chinese people surrendered their freedom at starvation point for a way out and now that's dangled over them like a noose. Most in China are apathetic to politics and have no views of their own; only what the state indoctrinates at a young age. And those that try... well that gets dealt with very quickly. Look at how many protests get silenced... that is when the mainstream actually wants to air them... Hong Kong, ring any bells? What I hate is how the rest of the world is being conformed to follow suit and that is what I won't tolerate - if the Chinese want to be mindless puppets in their own nation, then that's on them. But tell your puppet masters that there are those outside who want no part in that.

@kennekan7990 firstly - thank you for proving my original point about how you criticise ones narrow view yet clearly have the same issue. Secondly - I never said the Chinese people are stupid, I said they were indoctrinated. Even the smartest soul on earth can be swayed when either desperate or when their guard is down. There's a quote a wise man once said "It's far easier to fool a person then to make them realise they have been fooled" and seeing as you justify the deaths of millions and the indoctrination of the rest for so called "progress" that clearly shows. Thirdly - congratulations, you're taught a secondary language; China and most other nations on earth are too. I personally speak three languages and am in the middle of learning a fourth. Fourthly - I stated quite plainly the reason why industry is on edge; it's the back pocket of the CEOs and owners of major corporations and their share holders more so that opposed the likes of Huawei. The people for the most part had only one issue, one you ought to know: isn't it true that all infomation a company shares from its customers has to be submitted to the Chinese government, even if it's data from another country? And if you're so free and without censorship; why even bother with a VPN? Lastly for now, amusing you went with the typical 'white supremacy' card when you're the one bringing up race here, not me. And if that's something you want to try and bring into the argument about hate, allow me to remind you again that I have Jewish in my lineage and many in my family lived during Nazi Germany - so I advise you to drop that crap right now.
