@johnallen7807 And you think Reform will do any different... this worship of a party that those opposing the status quo have is astounding. You're in for some disappointment.

@philhawley1219 "Better quality" he says. 😂 A puppet of the system is a puppet all the same regardless of party.
12
@LuxFerre4242 And you know what Reform will do? Exactly what Labour and Tory have done - EXACTLY what they're told.
12
@Simonsimon-fy3hq I'm disappointed in the fact that after all this - the public still hasn't learned.
11
Welcome to the group. Now just lose all confidence in the political system as well and you're well on your way to start getting things done right for yourself - as I say to everyone.
11
@LickorishAllsorts I don't know - the amount of people I find who whine about the system and yet keep lining up to tick the box anyway.
9
@knockschool How about voting for no one. Didn't that ever come to mind. 🙄
5
@Stephen-lx9nm I didn't, I don't vote. I don't take part in the system which every one else complains about screwing them over and yet keep lining up to give it permission to.
4
@Stephen-lx9nm Not really a matter of cleverness - just a matter of paying attention.
4
@Eleventhearlofmars Wow... great success... now my sarcasm is put aside: Reform are just another brand of the same puppets for the same show. They'd do exactly the same as the two main parties, just like all the rest. And what that is, is what they're told.
4
@LickorishAllsorts Sure is.
3
@Stephen-lx9nm Nope. Try again.
2
@LuxFerre4242 That chance is non existent - not with the fact that the only thing keeping the nation from bankruptcy is governmental obedience.
2
@JoBrady-q8p Actually yes I can, because I did not vote, I'm not responsible for whoever gets in and what they do. Those who do vote however - be it for the winner or lose, are responsible for said winners actions. So I have more say over what's going on then you realise.
2
@skeletoncru302 Absolutely, but don't go even signing the ballot with that either.
2
@Simonsimon-fy3hq I was utterly unsurprised when the establishment's puppet began carrying out his orders, like each and every one before him, on each side of the aisle and in every party. My disappointment is that after all this and yet the public simply haven't learned and keep persisting on "We need to follow this one, we need to follow that one..." for goodness sake - haven't any of the mass public got a thought of their own??
1
@LuxFerre4242 That chance you hope for is non-existent. They do as they're told like everyone else - put them in power and they'll turn their back. The situation of the nation is something no one that is going for the role, is going to choose to change course on. After all, would you be the one ready to go down in history as being the one forced to essentially bankrupt the nation? The banks and their business interests own this country.
1
@Lakesider52 Hardly deflecting, simply shining a light on all of it.
1
@wideyxyz2271 I have far more to show for it by doing such. And 650 people voting themselves in - a whole nation of seventy million and more could easily turn and ignore them. Police, military and all the rest can just as easily join that number.
1
@peterstewart6390 So you want to extinguish a fire with fuel? Good luck.
1
@IanLynch-b7e I have my own mind and the ability to both see and admit what others seem too socially conscious to admit themselves.
1
@seewhatifound The majority of them are just puppets going along for the sake of a career, others go along with it for their own self interests and the ones who get the front row seats of power, they're the ones most pally with those who really run things. And I assure you - any and all parties that get power end up in this exact same pattern - establishment won't accept any less.
1
@seewhatifound A few of them are, but the majority of them are just puppets.
1
@apoorww1veteran994 Is that faith or fear? You realise that if they got in, they'd have the same ultimatum as anyone else: compliance or bankruptcy.
1
@martinjackman2943 Then you go ahead and be a good little boy and do as you're told - you go tick your box and give yourself a pat on the back. Then when it all comes crumbling down, realise you've only got yourself to blame.
1
@martinjackman2943 Who?
1
@samrodian919 You still don't get it - they don't care if you spoil the ballot; you've still signed it and that's all that actually matters. Ballots act as a contract in affirming consent to the process - the status quo doesn't care if you're trying to affirm discontent, merely secure your consent, without you even realising it. You've played only yourself.
1
@SusanBell-dl5gr There already isn't - it's already doomed. The amount of folk who cling desperately in thinking "Vote reform!" "Vote this, not that!" have guaranteed it.
1
@gam9063 Paying attention to what is, instead of just what is said. It's nothing secret, nothing hidden in some secret grotto: it's right there in plain sight.
1
@Fitlad75 I'm doing more than the obstinant who insist on keeping the spiral going. People keep complaining about government, yet they just keep on empowering them because they blindly think someone else is going to do things differently so they don't have to. And that's what it all boils down to - a large mass wanting all the luxury but none of the responsibility for it. Then they whine when things don't go their way and often get worse... but apparently I'm the one not trying.
1
@notyourordinarygran Have you actually paid attention to my argument, or are you just content with parroting a response I've already dismantled?
1
@Seashore1403 Nope, realist.
1
@Eleventhearlofmars Because the banks and their business interests run the country de jure - they want their payments and we as a nation are essentially bankrupt. So Reform gets in and what will they do? As they're told like their predecessors have, or refuse and thus have us be defaulting completely; our money realised as worthless and everything else that follows?
