Azera Alahada the police aren't there to stop the crime; they're only there to clean up after. And in this day and age, one has to literally follow the wording by each letter for self-defense to be admissible for retaliation; especially for a guy.

@petergreen5337 are you serious? Ask Starmer to define a woman - watch him squirm for the sake of being politically correct. Labour are no better then the Torys - Rayner couldn't find tarmac if she'll stepped out onto a road and the rest of the party are too obsessive over identity politics. And sad thing is, the other parties aren't much to go on either. People need to start thinking smart, not sheep.

He's lost his credibility - he only had one job: which he failed miserably at doing. So explain how he thinks his non credible voice should sway us one way or the other: especially since so many in the force abuse their power as seen in the selective measures I what protests they break up or protect and it's barely been a month since two were found bonking in their patrol car whilst ignoring a response call from a serious assault! I feel for those amongst them who actually want to do their duty, but they're going to need to do their part in ousting these many vipers just as we need to oust their enablers from the seats of power - current and opposing.

@claudiacolli9931 and Labour who enabled it by dragging us into an illegal war based on a lie, opened the floodgates into Europe, deemed the British people's concerns as racist and politically incorrect and sold our gold off to China. The Tories have acted atrociously with no doubt, but to call Labour anything more then complicit and hypocritical in their condemnation is laughable.

@mijimonmaster If a right has to be written down in law however, then it's not a right - it's as one once wrote "Hay and a barn for human cattle" for the more a government can "give" the more from you it can take. Rights are as absolute in as long as people defend them.

Your last argument is the only part I agree with - it's up to people themselves to fight and defend their rights. Because the moment they relent to having to have it written by others, they've already relinquished it.
