You're not a "End is near" sort of guy? You should be; this is an utter abomination of man's creation. Funny how we endeavor to be gods by making gadgets, yet we do little in trying to be good men and women with reason and logic.

I believe the band Amaranthe have a song related to something along these lines...

This is ridiculous, it's "thought process" is nothing more then a collection of 0s and 1s

@thatguyjoe007 you make that sound as if they would care.

YouTube WantsToSilenceMe evil calls to evil.

@GiRR007 what's so special about "true progress" it's often a crude, penetrative act which violates whatever it touches. What you're deeming as the progress of humanity, I deem the malformation of our humanity.
1
@SorrowAvenue as much as I share your perception of humanity in my own misanthropic principal - I wouldn't actively go out of my way to invest in my own downfall with essentially a scorched earth strategy. Humanity is vile in what we do, not what we are.

@FierceDeityTM life frequently imitates art and the truth is often stranger then the fiction upon what it is based.

@GiRR007 tell that to anyone who first learns that the science behind the heart transplant that saved their lives, came from years of inhumane torture by a doctor who quite rightfully so, became known as the "Angel of Death" Spoiler alert - read up on Josef Mengele, then come back and talk to me about the semantics of humanity and the humanity of humanity being a moot point.

@SorrowAvenue i can't argue that for the most part you have a valid point in what you sat - worst being those who hide their acts in justification of some sort of righteousness, but I can also be said that there are people who DO try to go against this mantra; they're often the target as they give opportunity to the majority. Their actions however do signify that such nefarious acts or benevolent acts are down to choice. Unlike animals driven by instinct we have the means to make our choices to determine what we are - hence we are what we do, not what we are born.

@beepboopbeep4801 combat climate change? You can't stop the rain, nor stop the sun from rising. The world will heat and cool down on its own: always has and always will, regardless of the fear mongers who curiously make a hell of a profit themselves at the expense of the people they're scaring - and here you complained about a wealth gap. Helping people is a fine virtue, however there is little helping those who either will not or choose not to attempt in helping themselves. Wealth gaps come from a mix of effort and opportunism: you need to be as wise as a serpent if you wish to be as docile as a lamb.
