@georgecromar4094 You think that's bad - try being English; especially in England itself.

Tell that to the people who've been forced out of pocket because of those strikes. And funny how the union leader is never quite in the same predicament as the members of the union.
2
Exactly. This back and forth between business and unions, left and right, people and people - is the pendulum swing put in place to keep all of them in line.

@daveduck4315 don't put on your jackboots just yet.
1
@daveduck4315 got that arm ready? Gonna get cramped with the amount of salutes you'd be expected to perform should those numbskulls get in.

History has told - it tells exactly what socialism and communism does to a people.
1
And union leaders aren't?
1
@ceecee130847 and yet ironically they prop themselves up in exactly the same way.

So why did Biden pardon folk not under criminal investigation? A certain laptop has all the answers...

"Was" enough said.

@neilwilliams1518 care to rephrase that with articulate vocabulary? Or has national education paid for by the tax payer been wasted on you? And before you rant on - I'm no Eton toff nor a supporter of them, but I'm no pretencious want for nothing, bleeding heart either.
1
🙄 If you say so.

And by the time the majority figure this out - it'll already be too late. Most of them are lost already: ideological subversion has done it's work.
1
😂 Well this aged well, didn't it...
1
And just WHO would be running it, I wonder...

I agree. The buffoon had a solid point with his first question then immediately followed up with a ludicrous argument that was far more embarrassing then if his belt came undone and his trousers dropped to his ankles revealing his underwear.

I have no love for Sunak or the Tories, but I won't delude myself in thinking it's the government's place to hold the hand of people, let alone bite their hand as those are the ones that feed them. This is what happens to a country that grows dependant, incompetent and inept in hoping someone will do it for them. And I say this as someone who's paying his dues and busting his arse knowing the odds that retirement will be a thing by the time he's an old man, are essentially zero. You want change? MAKE the change and start by removing this rotten system in its entirety - left and right alike.

Interesting takes but I completely disagree with his call for the Online Safety Bill being "In the public interest" that IS a load of bollocks. Trading away the right to privacy and choice for the illusion of security is the definition of insanity as similar has been done before - not so much digitally, and it has ultimately not solved problems but added more. That bill should be torn up and burned away.

"The trouble with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money." Sanders talks a big deal - easily done since he's a millionaire himself. Of course he'd never put his money where his mouth is - just expect everyone else to do the work because he tells them on behalf of his own masters.

It's more the people in the middle rather then the poor. The poor have options, those in the middle don't - they can either continue slugging or become poor.
1
Oh but had Harris won and did the same "It'd be necessary" right? Democracy is dictatorship being polite and always has been.
