@B_Bodziak OK, very well I'll go through each and every part of your argument; be aware that this might get deleted - bleeding hearts and all.
First of all, the notion of them bringing tourist revenue is a misnomer - sure people come for the history but people come for more then just that; they come for business and so forth. You know how much the average Joe here in the UK knows about the monarchy? Complete Jack. If you were to ask them who was Elizabeth's father, they'd have to check up on Google.
And are you really buying into the BS that the reigning monarch has no influential power over his/her governments? The Crown Court is quite literally the defendant verses the reigning monarch; which is why in Canada, Australia and the UK etc - they could go out in the middle of broad daylight and mug someone and not be arrested; what king or queen would arrest themselves? And every law in the land ultimately gets passed to them for signing, facilitating it as law under the crown estate and so in turn; him or her.
So herein lays my contempt of monarchy - for the last four hundred years almost, under constitution the monarch has done NOTHING to hold back the many governments who implimented such abhorrent and asinine laws and moves though they had the very means to do so: George VI had every chance to stop the Third Reich in its tracks within a year, but Chamberlain was a coward looking to capitulate and look where that got him. And Elizabeth? Let's see - Heath LIED to the public about the membership of the EEC to ensure its membership by handing over sovereignty - which can not be done without a referendum of consent, he lied and asked about remaining and despite his approval vote, her obligation to stand in the way of ANY move by a government who runs on her behalf that would be detrimental to her "subjects" was not met - she stayed silent!
Thatcher obliterated our industries and she did nothing despite the joblessness that followed
Blair taking us into Iraq based on a lie - she did NOTHING and many good young lives were lost because of it.
Brown sold off our gold - Nothing.
Do I go on? She was a spoilt brat stuffing her face while the country went through turmoil. And I'm to "respect" that?! Never.
As for Markle - she's just a scrounging opportunist; ask how she got her divorce from her previous husband when 'better' came along. Harry the clueless twit just goes with what she says - I'd have a tad respect for her if she was actually just HONEST about it! But she proves herself a hypocrite by hiding as a victim. They left the "royal duties" which basically means travel at the taxpayers expense to take pretty pictures of themselves in faux postures of good will, making moral riddled speeches which they didn't even write and lecture us on how to live when NONE of the royal family has worked an honest job in their entire life - simply because Markle couldn't play Queen Bee because of another brat there before her.
My point being - WHY should we be proud of a family who's line over the last few centuries consist completely of something that if it were seen in any other; they'd be seen as benefit scroungers and parasites? And even during the time of absolute monarchs; who made them? Oh because of 1066 when an army of drunken superstitious halfwits made their Normandy Archduke king following the fall of Harold II? Who by his heritage was drawn from similar predictions back from when England was a myriad of tiny kingdoms - kings declared by either "divine" origin or by conquest?
Well if I were to declare myself right now as Emperor, because I could get a million to agree with me, would I be Emperor? No? Well then WHY should I recognise them?
This monarchy is a riddle of jokes and mockeries against the very principals they claim to embrace - Elizabeth was a Queen who by definition of the number of crowns she had, SHOULD have been an Empress, but know why like all before her, she wasn't? Because she, like them hid her pretencious and self serving petulance behind the excuse of opportunistic, glad handling, nonsensical, shit passing "Yes Men" who told her exactly what she wanted to hear and I would like to have thought that maybe this world would have woken the hell up and end this ridiculous display of ego now she's gone but the reality is, it's been handed to her idiot son and her unpopular daughter in law and the rest of that spoilt family.
"But Phoenix Saga, they serve in the military..." that bs doesn't wash - so did the many men and women who are on the street who this world doesn't give a shit about. I personally volunteer to help when I don't need to work; never seen a royal do it without a camara flashing to lionise them for the deluded masses.
Respect is EARNED, not demanded and no matter what anyone tries to argue, NO ONE is born to rule. Only one being I recognise as sovereign and the church doesn't even believe in Him anymore!

@retpal2302 I'm in complete agreement, the argument about marrying too young is a misnomer in of itself - often times the woman has married based on the thrill of who she's with, rather then the long term aspect as these sorts of fellows, seldom have long long term commitment in mind and they soon divorce.
As you adequately put: single mothers are more frequent, all because they blindly married the wrong man... if you can call them that. Now in my 30s I look around and I see many boys and very few men - they're not made to understand commitment at a young age, just as women aren't and it's the few men that do, that end up the target of not only this embittered assault on men but also the trap that comes from these left over women.
It certainly doesn't offer incentive for the 'bad boy' to change his ways either. As he ages he can still offer the thrill or security from the women in their 20s who haven't responsibility in mind. Women with high expectations in their 30's can't and so they must lower their standards and just settle.
And let's not forget, this gets passed onto the next generation - this all gets imprinted on their view of reality and so the cycle continues and spirals out of control.
I'm all for freedom of choice like I am freedom of speech; however with both comes the responsibility of accountability - so pressing for women to focus on careers is one thing, but they so often think about if they could, rather then if they should.
You're quite right in thinking by the time this generation is in their 40s there's going to be a lot of lonely women and they're not going to understand why; or rather they wont want to accept it . That's when bitterness will truly begin.
Likewise, a pleasure to talk.

@johnallen7807 no, but I do live in a family where most did serve in the forces: three in the army, one in the navy and one in the airforce and all of them have one thing in common - they wouldn't do it again, because the nation has become nothing worth fighting for, or on behalf of. Holding their words in mind is what stopped me enlisting as I would have done otherwise. Let's just say there's a lot that goes on in the forces that not a lot will talk about - not even to their closest. One instance I will share though is a term they say - the UN's military make the Nazi SS look tame.
Voting is an ideal - if only in modern time it worked. Now all voting does is legitimise the intentions of the only ones who will ever get into power: puppets themselves looking for a paypacket whilst facilitating the movements that those holding the strings intend - how else would Klaus even get a head turned in his direction? Why else would the mass migration be glossed over but never really enforced? These 15 minute cities and so on.
It's not just a lack of doing anything, it's also compliance with the idea that the system works for you when in actuality it doesn't. Most people, who actually bother to vote don't do so by their view, they do it because they've been told to: look at the halfwits protesting these days - none of them realise they've been had and all of them will vote in Labour. Protest votes for Reform are a waste of time, it merely means that one seat doesn't get won over by red for the opportunity of blue and vise versa; even those that do win will be in the same bedfellows as the Tories and Labour; which then begs the point - why even play when the game can't be won?
People need to be accountable for themselves and take responsibility instead of ever giving up liberty for the delusion of security and sloth addled self gain. I saw it in my year - by time I was 20, I could count the girls who left school in my year, who didn't have kids with the fingers on only one hand - all of the others: social housing and benefits. And I'm outright frankly ashamed to have been in the same year.

@christinerussell113 well first of "Conspiracy Theorist"? Thanks for the compliment. Second of all - you know the difference between conspiracy theory and reality these days? Roughly between six months and a year - so I fail to see how you make any point that isn't disingenuous.
You oppose the matters of the modern day, but choose to do nothing but play along just as they would hope. And you just don't see it - even now while you're complaining, you're just doing as you're told.
"Well we just need to vote in..." you might counter, to which I respond: We ended up with Thatcher/Major after all the mass strikes of the 70s. Then after that, we got landed with Blair/Brown, because people thought "Well, we'll just get change..." only to wind up with an illegal war, mass influx of migrants and the instillation of "political correctness" in the minds of many. THEN we got Cameron/May/Johnson/Truss (Barely) and now Sunak who have botched the economy over their fumbling of Brexit, incompetently panicking the nation over a cough and sending billions over to a cause we should have stayed out of... and I don't think I need to point out the delusion of zero carbon and the cluelessness of the very strikes that resemble the 70s.
Frankly I am sick myself of this cowardly indignation of wanting things to change, but no one wanting to take responsibility. You claim I offer nothing more then "mumbo jumbo" well I retort that you offer nothing more then hypocritical foot stomping and inevitable compliance in the hope "it'll magically be different this time". Ever heard a definition of insanity - because one definition is expecting reason with those who don't care about anyone else's view but their own: tried talking in opposition to mass migration to the left recently?
So tell me; hypocrite, when the dictatorial hammer comes down, how will you be greeting it? With a hopeful offering of your hand or their version of the Hitlergruß?

@stillcantbesilencedevennow That doesn't answer the question, that avoids it. Because the answer is that it's impossible to find a dish that would satisfy both. Food is the fundamental basic need of any man and woman: regardless of age, background, race and so on. If you can't get them to agree on that - to what chance is there to get them to agree on anything else?
Your argument that we all come out of the meat bag as a blank slate is also poor in defense of equality - some come out stillborn and never have the chance, some are forcibly through abortion without a single say, because of the mother. Some are born with a defect that leads to an untimely demise and others are born with genetic abnormalities that ultimately mean they're going to need to be tended to their whole life.
Even in the start of life where a swift death isn't a factor, or certain conditions leave a person incapable of looking after themselves - you have absolutely no idea of the upbringing: most live in families that try, others have it where their family tries but ultimately fails through hardship. You have those with loving families, but most today have one parent absent.
The ONLY part of life in which there is equality is choice and even then those choices are dependant on personality and whether or not a person is able to follow through on those choices. The resulting factor of the above is a matter of equity: what you put into life is what you get out of it - some start with nothing but work to get everything and there are those where the roles are reversed. Ironically so there are those who just fall under where the stars align so to speak: do all but get nowhere, those who do nothing but just have a grave deal of good fortune.
I agree that it's up to each of us to utilise our talents, but don't go mixing equality with equity - if equality were true, someone who made all the right moves in finance would be in no better position then someone who never bothered and squandered it - and you know too well that isn't how the world works and never will.
Therefore, equality is impossible.

@catwoman2596 please tell me you're done? All this disingenuous compassion of yours is beginning to bore me - and for your information; not that it matters to you, I risked my job and got shunned by many a person - those who I knew and those who I barely even can remember by not only rejecting the shot but informing the narrative being a false one, to those waiting in line every day there was one at the local practice. I was heckled, ignored and even mocked physically with idiots trying to force those masks on me which resulted in a few thrown fists, so many things I can be called; but one of them isn't a coward.
You're talking to someone who had to watch as a kid was forced by her parents to take it, only to have to have a hysterectomy at the age of fifteen a year and a half later: her parents also being good friends of mine, or were; she used to babysit my kids all the time. I knew a fella who played amateur rugby at the peak of his health who following peer pressure by his kids and girlfriend who bought into that crap; nagging and whining at him until he caved, died a week later and guess who were all sobs and whines - so I tell you it is a little too late for him; now it's in him, it's stuck there and his injuries proves it. In the latter case, Ryan's kids i can show compassion - they couldn't know better, but his girlfriend carries that guilt for the rest of her life and I'm supposed to show compassion to someone who dragged a good man down so far he made a choice he knew was a fatal one?
I don't have to tell people "I told you so" a good deal of them these days can't even look at me because they knew I was right - not that I take any pride in it. But I sure as hell will not show any mercy to those who had options and chose cowardice over liberty. So call me coward all you want, I call you a sympering coddler who has not realised the absolute truth - Times like these have passed over and over and these people will NOT learn! I promise you - the next time the fear bell rings, these 'poor people' will jump for obedience sake.

To have to face the inevitable that there is nothing more to be done - I've been there with my own mother, rest her soul. So for that entire family to be there for their son, their brother, their husband, their father; my heart goes out to them.
To the brave man, I can't even imagine what the ordeal must have felt like - among the many pains and agonies I have ever learned about, this was perhaps the cruellest I have ever taken in and probably will ever be made privy to in my life. If I could give an honour of any to that warrior's heart I would give it proudly.
To the doctors and nurses who painstakingly treated him - they did everything they could with everything they had; you could not be anything short of proud of that.
I should hope that no one will ever endure such again and if there is some sick and twisted...EVIL is the only word I can use to define it, out there that would strive to inflict this and aspire to worse on another - I pray that God have mercy on your soul, because no one shy of Him, I can imagine will show you any.
And to you, for giving insight to this case - I thank you. Consider me subbed and looking to see what content you have uploaded.

@gumusluk05 critical thinking that goes with the narrative you mean. That's not critical thinking - it's regurgitation. For as much as you're calling this government inept - to a degree of which I agree with you; that's a dangerous situation for a nation to be in as when a government becomes incompetent someone comes along to seize power; history's examples - Rome's Republic, France's Revolution, The Soviets, Weimar - I could go on, are too much convenient to blindly overlook.
Only wear a mask? Unless you've been in a cave the last two years: the movement of people in the UK has dropped, businesses have been shut down and most won't ever reopen; meaning there's been an awful amount of people in dire straits. Mental health is an issue being overlooked and suicides have been up. But we've "only been told to wear masks" according to your 'critical thinking' which overlooks how time and again they've locked down except the last two summers so the powers can go on their holidays.
As for the app or the jab - not noticed at first that it was optional and now they're trying all forms of coercion to get you to stand in line? Next they'll be doing a Macron.
And answer me this genius: Measles has been given a Vaccination for decades now - cases are almost non existent in this country for a virus with a 10 to 20 percent death rate, which we've known about for centuries; so if these two jabs which the 'experts' are so confident about work so well - why would you even need to worry when it was the old and the sick who were jabbed first? Why are the cases still going up when apparently two thirds have had the jab?
If we're in such a crisis then it wouldn't take a news outlet to need to tell you what was going on. Before the big announcement almost two years back, nobody even noticed and that's strange seeing how 'dangerous' this is, isn't it?
And if the words of the foolish prove them so, why are they being silenced? Surely the results before everyone's own eyes would be enough to part truth from fiction - which is what we all want, agreed?
Finally, you're pro passport just to go to a store or venue? What next - will you be looking to replacing the shaking of hands with an outlawed German salute? Because that's how it starts. "Papers please" is looking to be replaced with "Passport please".
Think for yourself - look on all sides - get a clue. History repeats and tends to rhyme - and opportunists always make great use of a tragedy.

@maxwild1212 1, we left in name only because we're still bound to many of their rules and policies, also we're still paying into their coffirs due to a poorly constructed deal - when No Deal would have been a better method, therefore our leaving has been in name only.
2, the ones who really own and run this country - who own all the land, the big businesses, banks and the currency, have government answering to them at every turn, they have the courts and judges in their back pocket and who dictate the information that we, the little folk get to hear as "Official Narrative"
Forget the politicians, they're there to give you the illusion of choice: when in reality no matter who you choose to put there, you merely submit to that establishment and legalise it's authority in your name until the next time.

@cameronamis994 not an excuse but it's just as racist to point one country out amongst many and make it the be all, end all focus of blame whilst giving everyone else a free pass.
That bullshit my friend is why I'm proudly a misanthropic schadenfreude driven nihilist because no matter what is said, no matter how much is done, it's never enough for these opportunistic, self gratifying fuckwits - they're predators of a sort no one ought to be proud of being, not the victims they claim of being. I get what I want because I'm smart enough and prepared to put in the work, politicians get what they want because idiots keep voting for them and people using isms and phobes only get what they want because they sit there whining "Oh woe is me, I can't get a break. I think everyone else should make themselves far more miserable because I need company in the form of their misery" and you know what? Idiots actually fall for that crap - self loathing imbeciles indoctrinated in an education system to be raised with little originality that doesn't upset the status quo and harboring little to no self esteem who actually nurture such demented excursions. All done in the pathetic hope they'll be given a pat on the back while they join the throngs as faceless bodies until they're no longer convenient enough to be kept around and are dropped at the first sign of trouble. And they won't even understand they've been used up and tossed away, in the same manner that these whiners claim they've been.
See past the bullshit, stop being a puppet. Even sheep know when to bolt from the paddock when they see one of their own get dropped - why do you think in an abattoir the first thing they do is separate the animal from the rest of the herd? I call dimwits like those crying "waycist" puppets because as mentioned in the abattoir which is every day life - people are figuratively getting bolted in the open and no one even flinches, but when the strings are twinged, the puppet dances to the rhythm that the puppeteer wishes. It's nothing secret, nothing hidden from your eyes: just wipe them and clean your ears - you can see and hear it, open and plain and once you do you can't unsee and unhear.
You understand all this - then there's some hope in a select few people in this decadent and subverted waste we call the modern generation of humanity. The majority who whinge about oppression but never once stop to think about who mined the cobalt to make the lithium ion in their phones battery or in their pc so they can sit down in their cushy chair, stuff themself on processed mush and cry on about being oppressed. They're their own special little creature; Eddie Barzoon.
And with that - the pin thus drops: people need to grow up and move on.

@christinerussell113 are you done blowing smoke? Give yourself a great big pat on the back for actually doing something other then sitting there pining over your circumstance at the beginning of your adult life . I respect anyone who makes best of what they can't change and drive for better - now how about taking that bluster and focus it onto something that might get things done. You've surely by now realised the world hands you nothing and will take what it can from you when given chance; so what hinders you from no longer playing the game that the ones holding the strings over everyone, hopes you simply play in the idle hope of change?
I have no interest in leading and my reasons for the use of such a name are my own. I won't bore anyone reading this with long blown elaborations of my own responsibities as a husband, as a father; which for the most part, unlike the majority of the boys in my year; I've been in my kids lives since day one AND been married to their mother since before they were conceived; still married 14 years on. As someone who has always known the value of hard work, I still make time to be with them and to be an actual parent and husband. I've never claimed welfare and never been unemployed and never not accepted failures when they're of my doing. I've worked through then and improved - a lesson for both my son and daughter to take to heart.
I've was there when my mother died spontaneously despite having spent the last two weeks of her life in hospital, having had no one actually test properly on her because everyone was too panicked about a cough. I was there for my wife when her mother and father died and picked up the pieces - I could go on but I don't care for any applause for what essentially comes down to being a responsible man - the sort who you seem intent to scorn for expecting others to; using your words, grow up and stop expecting the world to bail them out and not expect the lunacy we see today. I never expect others to do what I am not prepared to do myself and while you call me arrogant - use whatever buzzword you like; I laugh at each one, I call it integrity.
What I "propose" is revolution yes, but as I mentioned earlier - which given your inclination of reading other comments and yet seem to have skimmed this part: not the sort which has occurred in the past as I agree - it doesn't end well.
But instead, one that simply has everyone in the nation turn around and denounce the system itself because it simply doesn't work. Call me an anarchist - but compared to the deeds of many a state - anarchy's issues are merely conjecture.
That answer your questions or do I have to spell it out to you? You don't seem the stupid sort, so thus you don't have that excuse in not understanding.

@jungbolosse3034 Your vernacular does not stand as testament to intellect, mere convenient demonstration of your attempt to come across as. If you need me to detail to you as to the situation we're in, given the nature of events especially in recent times; then I suspect my words would fall on deaf ears.
But fine, sit, read then do yourself a favor - don't take my words as gospel: what I speak about, you can find if you have the actual desire to face the truth. Though be warned - it will piss you off...and if you choose to dismiss then that's on you - can't say I didn't answer your question.
Those in power - MPs, The Prime Minister, Opposition and even the monarch are all in with the same bedfellows as those who really run the country and those around the world - vested interest in business, exchange on the fiscal markets and of course we have the likes of the WEF who the likes of Trudeau in Canada, Macron in France and Starmer here in the UK can't do enough for to carry out their intentions.
When Cameron put the referendum on the table, he didn't do it for the sake of "the people" he did it so as to get the skeptics off his back and hope for a comfy career in his seat whilst instructions would be carried from Brussels and Klaus. Alas it backfired and note how he tucked his tail and bolted. Then the next two PMs came and both of them dithered with a deal that shouldn't have even been made, but that's not the game plan - Brexit wasn't supposed to be what the people voted for; they were meant to "Accept the words and advice of experts and hold hands, yadda yadda."
Conveniently around the same the world gets a cough and panic in the media distracts people enough to ignore for the most part the deal in Brexit and it utterly screams of looking to undo what it was meant to mean. Johnson wasn't ever a leaver, he just saw a chance to get a slice then go his merry way. And the shot that comes with said cough - note how "conspiracy theory" became very popular to use as a negative to anyone who rightfully questioned what they were essentially being coerced to pump into their body.
Then we get Truss; a perfect example of how those we put in power are just puppets of the establishment. Like her or hate her, her policies were perhaps some of the first Conservative policies in half a century and she was out of power in a month, because she wasn't playing ball with the establishment and so the media destroyed her - only to put another WEF stooge in the face of Sunak who during the previous Tory leadership, LOST to Truss and has done nothing but undermine this country to lead up to the next election - when the short memory of most people will reward Labour power and just watch how quick they'll be to go begging to Brussels like the sellouts they are and what the Tories have always been. Just as the establishment and status quo demands.
I could continue, care for questions; or shouldn't I bother telling some hard truths for you to go and realise?
In short they want to control you and they want you to believe you're in control when you make the decisions they want you to make. The education system in itself demonstrates how they're far more interested in the young to be more focused on identity rather then critical thinking - it's far easier to manipulate gullible, emotional puppets then it is to control free men and women with thoughts of their own who challenge you.

@frusia123 psh they said the same thing prior to WWI - UK, France and Russia on one side, Germany, Austria-Hungary on the other. The idea being that one sides combined army would be too large to challenge at war. Course it turned out to be bollocks, Austria declared war on Serbia, Russia on Austria, Hungary naturally on Russia, France on the combined Austria-Hungary, Germany on France and then Britain on Germany; the whole thing fell to bits.
And now you say there's peace? 😃 and prosperity?! 😂 Greece is pretty much bankrupt and politically at the table under Germany's foot for backing, Spain's not looking too good either, Sweden is inundated with invaders who they took in kindly and were exploited, Hungary and Poland are defying for their sovereignty which Brussels keeps penalising them for and Italy looks like they're just about ready to leave.
Learn to read the situation, think smart, not sheep.

@markrobinowitz8473 you'll be surprised. I can't speak for all Libertarians but I can in my own words dismantle your arguments on those three issues; ecology and energy go hand in hand - the argument for climate change would have us go from fossil fuel and nuclear to full renewable. That is impossible to achieve no matter how altruistic it may seem. Hydroelectric via aquaducts and rivers means essentially to drastically alter the environment around the dam meaning a great die off of ecological factors; flora and fauna. Out at sea is an argument for that, but at best it only generates power at certain times of day, at worst it also potentially has risk aspects to marine life on the same scale as an oil spill when it comes to the mechanisms required.
Wind power - not only are they dangerous to avian wildlife in flight, you can't control the wind; it doesn't blow all the time.
Solar another - even if you layout panels across a desert, a sandstorm would immediately put a stop to that. Plus the materials are toxic elements for the most effective storing of energy: a break immediately spells a problem both for people and wildlife.
Then there's battery - what are you going to make it from? How are you going to charge them? What logistics are going to be enough to provide for a growing demand?
And on top of all those factors is the COST. the price to even attempt this would be extortionate. Unless everyone accepted the sort of society experienced in China it couldn't be done... and seeing that regime and it's antics; you want to talk to me about empathy.
As for your statement regarding claims; sounds to me like you're accusing a lot of people of capitalising on this issue. If that's true then it leaves no imagination as to what those in power could attempt and are suspected of doing. A good example is Musk claiming Tesla won't accept bitcoin for purchase and yet he's not selling or destroying any he's likely accumulated. Ignorances and intolerance? Now I often laugh when they're brought up because those who do are often the biggest hypocrites; those condemning intolerance tend to show no tolerance to those who disagree with their claims. And ignorance? A typical excuse to justify the imposing of a notion with a good fire back in the event of objection; even when it's valid.
It's the tragic comedy from those going on about equality, which I will tell you now; unless you want to go extreme nihilist - it's never going to happen; doing so contradicts the idea of evolution, which I noted you approve of. Evolution isn't just survival of the fittest but also those who can adapt the easiest to circumstances beyond control, regardless of its price. Tell me, would you regard discarding your empathy if it meant progressing, or does that conflict with what you would deem normal? Normal itself is semantic, that I personally admit.

@vin00ify Oh my friend, shall I introduce to you to Hernán Cortés? One of the more infamous Conquistadors who destroyed the Aztec Empire and brought a large swathe of South America and the region that makes up Mexico under the Crown of Castile?
How about Napoleon for another? Or the Reign of Terror that saw the Revolutionaries chop off anyone's head in France who were guilty of so much as coughing during a zealous speech opposing the agenda? ...bit like today with the purge of "misinformation" bollocks used to justify silencing opposition..
Or since the matter of "World" is based on semantics, given the distance travelled was relative to the ability to do so: let me introduce to you the Caesars who pretty much forced kings all over Europe, parts of Northern Africa and Asia to accept the bribe and submit to rule, or be crushed and the people enslaved. And for them, Rome may as well have been on the other side of the world.
Want outside Europe? OK let's look at the Mongols such as Khan who when sacking Shanghai - decided that it was much easier to surround and starve the city along with plaguing it with the corpses of soldiers who'd contracted disease: flinging them over the walls by catapult might I add, to the effect that by the time the city opened the doors in desperation, the fight was already over before it began and for some of the fringe benefits of the Khans regime, their rule was not a very kind one.
And may I present the coup de grace - the Ottoman Empire that constantly raided throughout Europe and Africa; taking slaves of Africans and Europeans both and forcing conversion on them.
You bring up a few minor and relative conveniences, however for what Britain "took" we offered just as much back - the last railway station for one - granting access for transport in India was built during British rule: for a nation now one of the wealthiest in the world, with large swathes of impoverished people still.... but they conveniently have a space and nuclear program...
Try again. And do try not to shoot yourself in the foot?

@twistedsister2568 I'm going to put it as tactful as possible - people are idiots. They often have little; if any thoughts of their own, especially politically - any view or opinion they have, they get from the mainstream or from the subverted opinion of family. "Oh my family have always voted X, so I am too."
It's that lazy mindset that allows politicians a free ride and since you clearly haven't registered to a thing I've said regarding the status quo not being affected by the choice of vote - let me put it this way. Your party is a cup: blue, red, yellow, green and so on - the political scope is a water source filled with poison. Does it then make ANY difference what colour your cup is, if you fill it up from the same source as the others?
The answer is no, it does not. The establishment KNOW the people are angry, but they really just don't care. Our opinion doesn't matter to them, because so long as people use the very system that oppresses them, regardless of party - it will continue.
If you can't see this by this point then honestly, you're hopelessly over your head - voting even for outsider parties is like a dog chasing it's tail.

Unfortunately while claiming you didn't sign up for this - you single handedly opened the pathway for these lunatics to follow.
How you might ask? Well let's just see the example of what homosexuals were working with: the mantra of those before them amongst the feminist movements - "Why shouldn't I be included and accepted as equal, just because I am woman?" Simple, to the point and unless you're prepared to endure the backlash, difficult to dispute... and it worked.
Gay rights came about - just replace the word "Woman" and voila - same argument, same result. Feminists couldn't argue against the gay rights activists use of it, because doing so would then make it easy for the activists to respond "Well you were accepted, why can't we?" And that's the trap - because by doing that, the feminists would have contradicted their own stance, proven themselves hypocritical and rendered their arguments for their rights and protection and what not, pointless.
So they stepped aside and gay rights won the day. And NOW Trans are doing the same thing - just replace the word "Woman" and "Gay" and it's the same scenario - you can't condemn them because they're doing exactly the same thing.
I can however, because I don't believe in any of it - so my integrity isn't in question. But I do say, not in their defense, but as someone who abhors hypocrisy - "You went out of your way for equality: you expect it, you demand it! Well NOW is your time to show that you practice it; or are you and those before, finally prepared to admit that you are just full of it?"
Oh and heads up - the peds and the other degenerates are getting ready to do the same thing. Sleep tight knowing you paved the way for them too, willing or not; for a single crack will break the dam.

@janete5331 Then consider this a baptism by fire - read on if you're really interested in how this country, if not the world REALLY works.
I don't need to "See the future" to tell you what's going to happen; I just need to do what anyone and everyone else needs to and with general ease can do if they just wipe their eyes and clean their ears: You'll vote for Reform and "Do your part." That's your stance thus far.
But the reality is that the vote is only going to guarantee a Labour or Tory victory one way or the other; too many distracted and ideologically subverted puppets in the country voting out of habit or coerced instructuon rather then personal choice and reflection. And what you fail to realise is that it doesn't matter whether you're voting Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Purple or whoever; the end result is going to be the same. And why?
BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL ANSWERING TO THE SAME! The left and right wings are two wings of the same bird, flying in the same direction. The opposition of the parties is an illusion to fool people into thinking that Party A will do this because of Party B not doing that. And by voting you've granted consent for them to do it - whether your chosen party gets in or not and even more, they'll do what you find abhorrent regardless of whether they told you or not, because they have your vote already. And for the past century the Tories and Labour have leapfrogged over one another in the same song and dance while the goal of both is essentially the same thing. Tories have you worried about your earnings, Labour make you panic about public services and both are used to distract you while they've slowly but surely eaten away at your liberties and shame those few who have the integrity for calling it out. Yesteryear it was "Racists" then it was "The Politically Incorrect" and now it's "The Conspiracy Theorists"
"So vote a new party!" You may cry and I answer back - that "New Party" will play the same game: it'd have to, or it'll never even get a single MP in a seat as too many invested interests aren't going to risk their own skin and lose everything that the status quo has afforded them. And they happen to be pally with the media who only tell you THEIR truth as opposed to the actual. They inform the easily swayed and distracted into thinking; or not thinking to turn in support of what they find appropriate - all the while prepared to back-pedal and deny it once it no longer suits.
Think I'm out of my mind? Remind me how long Truss lasted? Her policies were the first sort that could be deemed Conservative in a good few decades and she was out within a month: she'd become an irritant to those with their own interests and the media obliterated her with few even bothering to look into why - the populice got told "She was going to ruin the country!" And they batted their eyes and carried on - letting the stooge they REALLY wanted in, sweep in by default. And we call him Prime Minister as of right now.
With the general election coming soon, they're now going to honey people's ear and the same song will win again. And let's play devil's advocate - by some sheer fluke Reform get in, how long will they last unless they played ball with the status quo? I'd predict at best a year: the media would see to that and a snap election would be pushed through and they'd be gone the way of Truss. And all by the very process you're insisting to play your part in.

@christineholloway8321 I've done so time and again on the matter with you, Christine. But I'll happily do so again.
Let's just say by some sheer fluke Reform get in - majority government with a whole new collective who have never been in politics or involved with those who have and the leader is made PM. He and the rest of the MPs are then sat down and told the following "Right, you are now officially government, but we're the ones who call the shots and we also decide the direction of the country" this being establishment including the monarchy, business enterprise, media and so on, who all answer to the likes of Klaus and his ilk.
It continues "With this said, we have a set plan of what we're going to do with the country and the rest of the world going forward, so you have a choice. You can either choose to play ball, do as you're told while putting up the facade with the opposition, made up of the same and take your slice.
Or you can choose to try and do things your way and, let's be honest - you saw what we did with Truss and what the Americans did with Trump. We will utterly destroy you in the minds of the people via the media and you will never see a job in anything meaningful ever again."
That's just those who aren't already affiliated with politics, those who are and are part of the main parties and the others including Reform and so forth - already know the score and they know the game is rigged and who their boss is. No matter who the country votes for, the government and opposition answer to the same master and it isn't the people who vote for them.
The vote is an utter con - built to keep people under control, drawn out so as to get as many people to legally sign permission for establishment to act as it pleases in their name - with a tick.
Get it yet, Christine - or does this reality check just not match up with the illusion you want to uphold by crying "Join Reform! Vote Reform!"

@timjansen7694 Excellent question and I can answer.
You are familiar with the Garden of Eden; where Eve was tricked into eating from the tree of knowledge and which she gave some to Adam and he ate. Doing this in spite of the instruction from The Most High not to at any cost, became sin of defiance driven by temptation via greed and pride.
Since then, every boy and girl born into the world has been born carrying the weight of that sin and in such state we become more susceptible to sin further and we've all done it; many a time having not even thinking of it, or only realising later.
The price for sin is death - and naturally because we have that inherited first sin, we're doomed to die, but of course we can only die once and thus only that one sin is paid - leaving the remainder on us after death.
Now Messiah; quite literally through His divinity, being the physical embodiment of The Most High's Word - was born through conception via Mirium: quite literally Messiah is The Most High on earth and being who He is, sin is something he is incapable of as to sin would make him imperfect and and something that can become imperfect can not be The Most High. As such, when He died on the cross, He died utterly sinless - a price for which covers any debt by his decree. No human born through Adam's line can claim being unblemished by sin.
His resurrection on the fourth day after was His dominion over death itself - granting Him alone the right to judge one and all. Belief in him and a bid to seek what He has promised with a true intent - not just a get out card, will be all it takes for Him to waver every last sin each and everyone who does so, no further question asked.

@ASHEN_ONE_GAMES Eddie Barzoon is a fictional character from a film - he'd been nursed through two divorces, a rehab and a pregnant receptionist. Having lived his life in pursuit of his own impulsive direction, he finally died when he was mugged by two homeless men who wanted his watch that he refused even then to surrender.
Now how does that compare with the matter at hand? Because, paraphrasing the speech within that film to pertain to reality at hand - you watch Barzoon bounce around like a game; a wind up toy. Like 250 lbs of preverbrial greed on two feet - his own special creature.
We're in the next thousand years and take a good look at ole Eddie; because HE is the posterchild of this new millennium. People like him, like the majority you see, it's no surprise where they come from.
We live in a point of time where the human mind has been sharpened to the point that we can split the atom with the push of a button via a simple desire, we've built egos the size of cathedrals, fiber optically connected the entirety of mankind to every eager impulse. We take even the dullest and deluded of dreams and we drape them with money coloured fantasies, until each man and woman becomes in their own mind their own Emperor - their own god and where can we go from there?
And as we're each jumping through one delusional hoop to the next - who's keeping their eyes on those in a lazily elected place in power? As their powers expand, our rights traded for privileges that are just so quickly retracted; even the simplest objection to the status quo and narrative is met with stern constanation and mockery - and it just keeps going faster and faster.
You're not given chance to think, no time to prepare: it's "For your safety and the security of the future" when the reality is - there IS no future. We're all on a runaway train and just in the UK alone, we have 70 million plus Eddie Barzoons all towing into their 'future' - every one of them desperate, eager to stab even their near and dearest in the back, wipe their hands clean of the evidence before reaching out to their pristine, fibre optically connected device, to tote up their billable hours and brownie points.
And then it hits home: YOU'VE got to pay your own way Eddie - you're a little too late in the game to buy out now. With a belly too full, a body too sore and eyes bloodshot, you're crying out with what little air you can gather in your lungs for help but guess what? There's no one there!
You're all alone now Eddie - you've become your own "SPECIAL" little creature. And the irony being when the shit hits the fan, they'll blame everyone but themselves for having rolled the dice once too often. In the end we're letting ourselves down.

@nretik Your point about government is correct - though they're merely puppets to those who really run things.
However I have studied into the "Royal" family and all their 'wealth' is undeserved and unjustified. What, because a thousand years ago a pretentious egotistical prat from Normandy was able to convince a few thousand drunken suspecious halfwits that they ought to make him king and take ownership of land?
Well if I declare myself Emperor, through convincing a million or so to follow me - does that make me so?
No, it doesn't. And as for the "work" aspect - stuffing their face and being so pretentious so as to travel luxuriously around the world to lecture people on how they're living their lives wrong - when none of them have ever earned their own keep their entire lives or had to live without: ALL at the expense of the taxpayer, does not constitute as "working hard" were they not being recognised as "royals" by ridiculous halfwits, they'd be seen for what they are: a bunch of brattish, deluded benefit claimants who wouldn't know work if it smacked them in the face.
And Charlie like mommy before him and every last monarch since the restoration has done NOTHING. The last one who did anything, did so by receiving an axe to the neck... ironically also called Charlie.
And the "wind farming" I'm actually laughing at that - those things are counter productive, cost more to build then they ever will make in profit and when they need decommissioning, will cause more "environmental damage" then the source that anyone with any sense would just use, ever could... and guess what; those wind farms need oil just to run - so 'noble' a waste of money on land that Charlie has 'inherited' but hasn't ever earned.
And money? That's even richer - he's a "King" of a nation like every other that has a currency backed on how much debt it owes as the pound is; like the Euro and Dollar etc...WORTHLESS! So much for "handling money" properly - can't even get any that has any actual worth since the last pound worth anything on its own was concluded in the 30s with the dropping of the gold standard.

@morwickchesterham3875 The King is the circusmaster, the owners are those who own the land, the currency, the industries, the businesses, the courts, the judges who they have in their back pocket and of course the institutions such as the media, education and even religion.
You're not entirely wrong, just not extensive enough. Establishment owns the politicians - they're just salesmen, there to keep the masses under control and bicker amongst themselves as part of the show to distract everyone. Each one is Media trained for one single purpose - to get you to tick a box; any box, and thus legally have establishment granted your consent to act and what they choose in your name whilst you simultaneously denounce your rights in exchange for the privileges they can give or take away at their leisure.
