  1.  @armandoaranda7989  Old testament frees humans from infinity of natural gods, magicians and so, bible says demons, scary creatures of night, spirits, supernatural humans does not exist and it really helps sleep. It postulates the order of natural laws, provided by god. Try to live in a world of spirits, it is very complicated, you will have to pray hundreds of gods every day. Also God supports linear time, the world is not destroyed and created every year, as in pagan religions, lateral effect is the concept of sin, it cannot exist in cyclic time. And new testament frees humans from actual serving the God, but you have great responsibility for your actions. In contrast with judaism, cristianity allows a lot, and provided the basis for science with natural laws from judaism and concept of total determinism from old local religions.
