  2. College is a business. What does it sell? Dreams, hopes, fantasy, fun and illusion! “THE COLLEGE EXPERIENCE” Why? There is a concept called a “dream job” where you get paid large sums of money for something that you enjoy doing. This however is a fabrication, a fantasy, an illusion. There is NO such thing as a “dream job”. It does not exist. The university’s would like you to think it does, but by the time you figure it out it’s too late. You’ll realize you’ve been scammed your buried in debt that no matter what will have to pay it back. With ridiculously high interest rates and compound interest that’s calculated DAILY! Unless you die, there is no escaping it. What you do for a living does not define who you are as a person. What piece of paper you have doesn’t matter in the real world as well. No one cares about a dam GPA or fraternity. Ask yourself if you would even want to work somewhere that did care. I’m my experience being a solid good person, willing and able is worth more then any degree. I do realize that some jobs require a license to work, that’s what college is for. However their are plenty of great jobs that don’t even require a High School diploma. Unfortunately society has deemed these jobs less respectable then others. Think about it. There is no such thing as a “dream job” only a “dream paycheck”
