@2010Thex False. IMO my province did better under them. Also, provincial and federal are two different things..

@daveg-Vancouver_Island And the PCs combined parties to become relevant federally. If you think cooperation is a bad thing then I genuinely don't understand what you from your government other than chaos.

@ItsOgre And most of their platform during elections is literally just the NDP platform. For whatever reason people give the Libs more credit for an idea they literally just copied.

@stickjohnny Ranked choice just funnels votes around to give FPTP style results. It's not proportional. It just gives an illusion of being able to vote your conscience. PR is the only way to fix democracy.

@daveg-Vancouver_Island People who oppose cooperation seek out chaos, whether they want it or not. If two parties that can work together represent the most people then they won. You are simply assuming that the winner has to be a singular party, which is odd since parties are already collective, internally cooperative enterprises. It's an arbitrary hurdle that ignores what it actually takes to govern effectively: working together.

@stickjohnny I mean, it's just mathematically the case but ok.

@daveg-Vancouver_Island You make interesting non-sequiturs and clearly I have struck a nerve.
1
@daveg-Vancouver_Island I mean, if you want to compare what you're doing to Ace Ventura blundering his way through an introduction then okay.
1
@Bangpath247 I think any comparison against the Libs and Cons is favorable to the NDP

@Bob-1374 Surrender is not a solution. They can't move physical operations or leave behind customers. They have to follow demand. They have to compete for physical real estate that gives them access to consumers. So most things can't really move. Also, that they can move things around on paper is simply because they are allowed to, and that can stop anytime. Also you don't understand how tax brackets work.

@huskerjpg Only if said wealth is exclusively in the form of "property", which legally tends to mean real estate and sometimes vehicles (and not the broader concept of 'things you own').
